My husband and I stayed at the Sandhurst for our anniversary in January 08. After searching on the internet for a hotel close to Stuart, we thought we found a good one. I'd say their advertising is pushing it! Room was definitely average, with a Motel 6 bed and pillows. Bathroom fan runs nonstop, shower head was lose from the wall. Patio furniture consisted of two plastic chairs and small plastic table. Pool and hot tub were as plain as they get, with cheap plastic furniture. The 'tiki bar at the pool' was a tiki roof over a small 3 foot bar and four bar stools. No drink or food service of any kind. That's not a tiki bar to my way of thinking. A grill was nearby, I guess you were supposed to cook your own dinner. Cable tv had no movie channels that we could find. The docks were very narrow, and appeared to be shallow. One boat dropped off someone and kicked up mud on exiting. No one was using the docks, except fishermen. The 65 item deluxe free breakfast was really a farce! Microwaved breakfast biscuits, cold hard biscuits with gravy that looked like glue, and soggy hash browns that you couldn't pick up with the tongs. I think the 65 items included salt, pepper, 3 kinds of fake sugar, forks, spoons, etc. Skip the breakfast entirely-it's awful. I just don't know where they took the exotic pictures posted on their website, I sure couldn't find anything that looked like it. See my photos.
