My family and I stay here once or twice a year while visiting nearby relatives. As the Hampton chain has upgraded over the years (nicer beds, free wifi, etc.) so has this property.
It doesn't quite match up to most of the other Hampton Inns I stayed at - especially the newer ones (this is 15+ yrs old I think). It does not has a work-out/fitness facility. The breakfast seems to be lacking compared to other Hampton's - fewer items, less quality, pretty minimal - and the dining area is often crowded requiring us to bring breakfast back to our rooms due to a lack of seating. Some of the breakfast staff have an attitude of doing you a favor by feeding you. We often go out for breakfast even though it is included in the price.
That said, it's good enough for our purposes - very close to our relatives. The staff is generally helpful especially the desk people. The rooms not facing the highway are quiet. The hotel is quite clean. The wifi works well. Rooms are a decent size with nice Hampton beds.
Note to beach goers. It is about 1/3 mile to the beach (nice beach area), a "block" or so along the highway then a long block and a bit to the beach. It's fine if you are not carrying much but a hassle if you are.
