A friend gave my mom and I two nights at this motel from an auction she won. To start, I must say that the kitschy exterior was pretty ridiculous, but I'm sure kids love it. There are huge plaster animals, like dinosaurs and zebras etc all over the property, along with things like tiki masks. We stayed in cabin #9, which was pretty nice, compared to some of the other descriptions on this site. Everything was nice, except I will agree that the toilet did not flush properly on the first night, but it seemed to work after that. Our room had a full-sized bed and a twin bed. There was a little TV in the bedroom and a bigger one in the main room. Our door opened right in front of the ocean (with a walk of about 30 feet of gravel). There are some basket chairs, which we did not sit in, but they were pretty. We went out on the canoe and kayak, which were free, and that was fun. The most amazing part was waking up every morning and going to sit on the dock while the sun rose. It was stunning. I know we didn't pay for our stay, but I thought it was nice, and I would pay to go again!
