We stayed here for 3 days as the final part to our virgin Flydrive, check out our review of Hawks Cay and Ocean Key resort.

If you have booked this resort then relax because you have made a good choice. The entry to the venue is gated with a very polite security team who are there 24/7. You then pop to the booking centre where you get allocated your apartment. All easy, friendly stuff and the staff are very helpful, even let me use their computer to do online check in.

Our apartment had its own drive, it is in the form of a New England town house, you effectively get one of three levels. On entry you go into a lovely living area, with soft sofa and chairs, coffee table and Sat TV. You then have and open plan area to a Kitchen all well specked , a good on suite bathroom then closed glass door into a large double bedroom. This accommodation is of a very hight standard.

The site has tennis courts, is a moments walk to the marina, and the main pool is fabulous, possible the biggest I have seen. There is another more private pool but we didn't use it as the main on was so good. The centre provide you with very good info of local restaurants which we used and found to be all very good. It is a good base for the Everglades also.

In summary, this is not like a hotel, it is more like your own holiday home, the accommodation it excellent, the location is good, there are lots things to do in the area and you are close to shops and restaurants. A good choice if you've made it, if you haven't then grab it while you have the chance

Nice place, awesome pool, and great marina. Terrible customer service. A/c broke first night, promised sofa bed was not provided, and complaints went unanswered. I will never stay there again and dealing with the front desk makes you wanna pull out all your hairs in fustration. Nothing but attitude and rudeness. We rented a total of three villas for our family and we all had issues at one point or another. Stay away if you like great customer service especially when its an expensive resort like this. Be aware of the room charge of $ 40.00 a night which was never disclosed to us when we reserved. Good luck!!!!!!

This place is fabulous. It's even more comfortable than home. If you are looking for a place to relax in the lap of luxury, this is it.

I read all of the reviews about this location, and I was worried, verrrry worried. While a few reviews indicated a good experience, others complained of the dirty pool, the rude people during check in, the restaurant being off property, lousy accomodations etc. I was prepared for a total disaster, and was PLEASANTLY surprised.

We had a three bedroom/three bath unit, and it was absolutely gorgeous. The swimming pool was probably better maintained than most swimming pools I have visited, and there was no dirt at all. It is surrounded by sandy areas, so obviously sand gets in the pool. The restaurant is a short, pleasant walk through the marina area. The grounds are very secure.

I was told that there was wireless internet, and that is not true. If you are a smoker, I was told that I could smoke on the balcony and at the pool. When I arrived, I was told that I could NOT smoke at the pool, although an owner told me otherwise, so I smoked without incident. Sophie at the front desk could use a course in Customer Service, but the other young lady was delightful.

If you are looking for a full service hotel with a beach, this is not the place for you. If you are looking to "waste away in Key Largo", you have found a great spot to do it.
