Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Bottle Inn.
The room we stayed in (#2) was small, but cute and functional. It was generally very clean - the bathroom was clean, which is important (but don't look under the bed - ugh - not sure it had been vacuumed in years).
We did not hear any noise from other guests, but the street noise was quite loud at time. Our room looked right out over Francis Street, which I am sure impacted this - other rooms may not have had this issue. But we were awakened several times because of the street noise.
My biggest issue was that the bed was just too soft. I had a backache after the first night. My husband complained about this, too. Plus it was clear that the king was two twins pushed together - the twins were slightly different heights, so it was very obvious (and not very comfortable).
The owners were extremely helpful and friendly. I can't say enough nice things about them. The breakfast was good - a nice selection of fresh bread, fruit and cereal. We enjoyed breafast outside every morning.
The owners have bikes on the premise for rent, which is a nice touch. Additionally, they have passes to get into Ft. Zachary Taylor - which saves a few dollars if you go.
Overall, I think the Bottle Inn is a nice place to stay and Key West is a fun destination!
