Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Bottle Inn.

The room we stayed in (#2) was small, but cute and functional. It was generally very clean - the bathroom was clean, which is important (but don't look under the bed - ugh - not sure it had been vacuumed in years).

We did not hear any noise from other guests, but the street noise was quite loud at time. Our room looked right out over Francis Street, which I am sure impacted this - other rooms may not have had this issue. But we were awakened several times because of the street noise.

My biggest issue was that the bed was just too soft. I had a backache after the first night. My husband complained about this, too. Plus it was clear that the king was two twins pushed together - the twins were slightly different heights, so it was very obvious (and not very comfortable).

The owners were extremely helpful and friendly. I can't say enough nice things about them. The breakfast was good - a nice selection of fresh bread, fruit and cereal. We enjoyed breafast outside every morning.

The owners have bikes on the premise for rent, which is a nice touch. Additionally, they have passes to get into Ft. Zachary Taylor - which saves a few dollars if you go.

Overall, I think the Bottle Inn is a nice place to stay and Key West is a fun destination!

We visited Key West in August 2006 for a getaway before our baby arrives soon. We didn't have too many choices since we were bringing our two dogs, and the Key West Innkeepers Association was a great help in guiding us to find pet-friendly places to stay.

We were undecided between Courtney's Place and the Bottle Inn and finally decided to go with the latter after reading the positive reviews on this site.

The Frances Street Bottle Inn is located just 5 blocks from the Duval Street, so it's close enough to walk, but far enough from the attraction and noise. The room was very clean, the staff friendly and helpful. I was very impressed by the availability of fresh breakfast each morning (with hard-boiled eggs, fruit, and pastry, in addition to cereal and bagles). The staff was very helpful in making reservations for us for the sunset and dolphin cruises, which were both a great experience. They also informed us about the Dog Beach, which our dogs really enjoyed.

The Bottle Inn provides free passes for the Ft. Zachary Taylor State Park and Beach (a must-see for beach lovers). They also provide beach towels, even chairs to take with you to the beach at no cost.

The location of the Inn is great, settled on a quite street but close to great restaurants, as well as the boardwalk where most attractions take place.

The only downside was that our room was a bit small for 2 adults and 2 dogs, but since we didn't spend too much time in the room it wasn't that much of a big deal. The room (number 6) opened to the porch, where 2 chairs and a small table was reserved for us, providing a pleasant breakfast environment.

Overall, the Bottle Inn is a great place to stay for those who are looking to experience Key West as it is supposed to be. We didn't want to stay at a luxury hotel (not that we had a lot of choices with 2 dogs) and the Bottle Inn was just what we had expected.

It was our first visit to Key West and the the town and B&B exceeded our expectations. If you're looking for a wonderful place to stay that is clean, quiet and friendly the Frances Street Bottle Inn is the place!

The B&B has 8 rooms with a very comfortable tropical atmospheres. What makes The Bottle Inn great is the staff (Marketa, Dennis and owner MaryBeth). They make you feel extremely welcome and never seem intrusive at the same time.

Free high speed internet access, Free beach passes and beach towels, Free soda, yogurt and so muck mere all included in the room rate. Wow!!

Plus, if you're looking to take a ride on bikes, they have them too.

We will definitely be staying at the The Bottle Inn again

The staff is very helpful. We have stayed there before and had a great time. The Frances Street Bottle Inn is our home away whenever we visit Key West.

Cafe Sole', the restaurant right across the street, is one of the best in Key West. Mary Beth at the Inn made reservations for us and gave each couple a coupon for a free bottle of wine with two entrees. We had their Mangrove Snapper special and it was fabulous. Where else can you get great truly fresh seafood dinners for two with a very good bottle of wine and get a bill for only $58.00.

The Inn is within walking distance of all Key West attractions.
