We stayed for two nights at the Seacape Tropical Inn in February. I believe all of the rooms at this B&B are different and we had the Havana Suite.
The Havana Suite had a separate entrance and was more like an apartment than a hotel room. The Havana Suite was set up like a loft apartment with the bed above the living room/kitchen area. There was a spiral staircase that connected the floors. We loved the spaciousness of the room and it was a great place to relax after a busy day in Key West.
Our only complaint about the room was the bathroom. The bathroom did not have a tub, only a small stand up shower that kind of was clausterphobic.
The location of this inn is excellent. Right in the middle of the old town one block from the intersection of Duval and Truman. It is about 8 to 10 blocks from Mallory Square and 4 to 5 blocks from the Southernmost point marker.
Parking is a little bit of a hassle. There is no dedicated parking lot for this hotel except for one space meant for checking in. When we arrived, there was no parking anywhere near the hotel on the street. The check in clerk was extremely nice in letting us park in the one spot next to the house usually reserved for checking in. Fortunately, a spot opened up on the street about a hour later and we didn't have to worry about our car for the rest of the stay. You won't need your car to get around Key West. You can easily walk to any of the tourist sites in Old Town but you can also rent bikes form the hotel as well.
Finally, the staff at this inn was extremely friendly. When we arrived, they went out of their way to welcome us and give us an overview of where everything was and what to do in Key West. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this Inn.
