We were in Key West last week for a wedding and to celebrate my 40th birthday. We loved Seascape! It's not particularly "fancy" but very clean, comfortable and cozy! I especially appreciate the fact that the rooms are all non-smoking. Koko made us feel at home immediately and made sure that absolutely everything was taken care of during our stay. He had great suggestions for restaurants, shopping, etc. Breakfast was always nice (who doesn't love a mimosa or two every morning?). The honor bar is a good amenity, assuring that sodas, water, coffee, tea, and beer are always available if desired. The pool is small - more like a large hot-tub - but pleasant. We stayed in one of the poolside rooms and it was fun having the pool right outside our door. The four housecats were very sweet and helped me feel at home. The location is perfect - just off Duval Street (near the Hemingway House) and within walking distance to everything you could want, while still feeling quiet and somewhat secluded. It was a very good value, and we will definitely stay here again whenever we return to Key West!

“Seascape Tropical Inn is SENSTATIONAL!!”

Seascape Tropical Inn

We stayed at the Seascape Tropical Inn's Havana Suite. We arrived after hours to find a note welcoming us and telling us to help ourselves to the cold beer in the fridge. We quickly unpacked and headed out to Duval Street. The Seascape is in a great location, just off the quiet end of Duval.

Koko, the manager, was a joy to meet and couldn't have been more helpful. He gave us his "virgin's guide" to Key West and recommended a place for us to rent scooters for our visit. Renting a scooter is something I'd highly recommend as an awesome way to see Key West. Seascape also has bike rentals if you'd prefer to travel that way. You really don't need a car in Key West as parking is very limited. Koko had made arrangements for us to park in the driveway of Seascape which was a bonus. After a very nice breakfast, Koko suggested that we leave our belongings in our room, and use it as a "home base" to return to throughout the day since he didn't have anyone coming in that night. Considering check out is at 11:00, this was very kind of him and very much appreciated!! Koko is a gem and after reading all the reviews on Tripadvisor regarding Koko, well, I just wanted to meet him for myself. He is everything that everyone has said about him and more.......a great guy!!

We just returned from a long weekend at the Seascape Inn. We had a very nice stay here and would consider it again. This B&B has a great location, just a 1/2 block from Duvall and yet very quiet. The rooms were fine and quite clean. Our only disappointment was the pool is really the size of a hot tub. It also was extremely humid there this time of year but that`s nothing the Inn could have done about that. The Inn mgr., Koko was terrific and he made our visit very enjoyable. He was very friendly and knowledgable of the area. Treats you more like family than a guest. The continental breakfast was more than I expected as well, especially the memosa`s. This B&B was pleasant and a good value, but I would also say there are many very nice Inn`s to consider in Key West.

“Wonderful Time at the Seascape!!”

My husband and I just returned from celebrating our 20th anniversary in Key West. This was our second stay at the Seascape Tropical Inn and it was just as wonderful as it was the first time we visited. The Inn is located off of Duval Street in a quiet neighborhood, but close enough to walk to all the major attractions, bars, etc.
KoKo the manager was very helpful in making recommendations for restaurants and attractions. On our anniversary day we received an anniversary card and two slices of Blond Giraffe Key Lime pie (the best on the island!). It was delicious!!! It was so nice of him to acknowledge our special day!
We stayed in room number 5 that has a king size bed and sun deck with lounge chairs and a table with sun umbrella which proved to be wonderful for a delivered lunch from Salsa Loco which is just around the corner. The room was very comfortable and clean thanks to Bozena (house keeper).
It was nice being greeted by Fang and Blackie the two most friendly cats of Key West each day.
Staying at the Seascape is like staying with friends! We look forward to visiting with KoKo, Bozena and the cats again soon!!

Regards,
Dave and Cheryl

“Loved it”

Seascape Tropical Inn

11 Jun 2008

My husband and I stayed here two nights just before Memorial Day weekend. We were looking for a quiet spot to use as a jump off to all the fun on and surrounding Duval st. The location was perfect, coulndn't have been closer. Although the Inn is just steps back from Duval, (it's near the more quiet part of the street) the noise and traffic seemed a world away. Our room was even right at the front of the house and we never heard anything. The Inn Itself was wonderful. Quiet, clean, comfortable. The staff was great, very friendly and accomodating. There were cold Coronas waiting for us when we arrived (my husbands favorite part). The Inn's resident cats are precious and so at home they barely budge when you walk by. Breakfast in the morning is standard fruit, yogurt & something to pop in the toaster, but also includes the not so standard mimosas(nice touch). The pool out back is more like an unheated jaccuzzi with jets but was still very relaxing after a long day of walking. The rooms are small. The bathrooms even smaller, but more important, everything was clean and comfortable. This place is an oasis tucked in behind the craziness. I would definately reccomend and can't wait to go back.
