We were a 'walk in' - no reservation, and were treated like old friends. The property was beautiful, and although we had the smallest room in the house, it was still very nice. We felt as though we were the only guests, rarely seeing other guests. The pool, spa and foliage were beautiful, and the breakfast was a perfect way to start the day. On top of all this, the location was unbeatable!

We stayed this year the second year in a row at this wonderful place in Key West. It is located on Duval Street with all its excitements, but still has a quite and very romantic atmosphere. We stayed in the Banyantree Suite last year which was wonderful with a private deck and this year at the Key Lime Loft which is a little bit smaller but as comfortable. Their Tropical Garden is nothing but beautiful. Especially we would like to stress the great recommendations for dinner or tours of our hosts which helped us to have the most wonderful time ever. Thanks again and we will come back soon!

We have stayed at Tropical Inn a couple of times, we have just got to write about this years stay, we stayed in The Gecko's Garden Suite, what a fantastic room. the owners have done a great job with the decorations, the bed was so comfy as well.
We love the tranquility of the tropical garden with its swimming pool and hot tub and then being able to walk out of the front door of Tropical Inn and be in the hustle and busle af Duval Street.
We loved the place so much the first thing we did when we got back to England was to book again for next year.

We stayed at the Tropical Inn for a week following a recommendation from a friend and the reviews on this site. What can I say, they are all true (apart from the one moan!). A truely splendid experience made all the better by the hosts. The hotel is on Duval, close enough to everything to be handy but far enough away to feel as though you are much further out of the centre. The garden space is ideal for unwinding either in your own space or by the communal pool. The room we had was delightful, slightly more compact than we expected but space in this area is truly at a premium and the hotel makes the most of what is available. Breakfast on the back garden is splendid. The whole place is as described on the web site. Brandi was good enough to point out a number of excellent eating places and Allens tales of life in Key West were particularly entertaining. Thanks to all for a delightful stay and apologies to Jayne for our Scottish accent. Overall, a stunning wee gem in the heart of Key West.
