A travel companion and I just returned from a stay at the Jasmine House. I called this place home while I was there. I plan to return someday and wouldn't stay at any other place. It gives you the feeling of actually living in this wonderful community. It's tranquil and private and has all of the comforts of home.

Although this wasn't a romantic trip, we stayed in the main area downstairs called the Honeymoon Suite (which included one bedroom), and a second bedroom just down the hall. It has the kitchen which is fully stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc. The living area includes a TV and a great stereo system. The deck, especially in the evening, is one of the most relaxing places I've ever been with the hot tub and being able to look up at the sky through the huge banyan tree. It even has a grill if you want to cook out.

Location is perfect...just a short 1/2 block off of Duval St. I walked "home" alone many times after dark and felt totally safe. The owner, Linda, is wonderful and is around most of the time to help with any questions or concerns. She gave me a phone number to call in the event I needed something when she wasn't around and told me to call anytime of day or night. She takes great pride in this little paradise and keeps it very clean.

It's the perfect place to stay with that special person in your life and I hope I get that opportunity someday, but I plan to go back to Jasmine House, regardless. I found "myself" in that little cottage and was able to leave a lot that I didn't need behind.

My husband and I, along with another couple visiting from NJ, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the beautiful Jasmine House located on Center Street in the heart of Old Towne, Key West, just steps from Duval Street. It was the perfect place to escape for a few days.

The tropically decorated, well-appointed, off-the-beaten-path, guesthouse was a tropical paradise. We booked the 2-bedroom suite. The main area of the suite included a full kitchen, living room, dining area and a FABULOUS outside patio for RELAXING! The hot tub was wonderful, as was the hammock. There was no way not to relax, in my opinion.

The owner, Linda, was extremely accomodating and was around to help with our every request. We even had a slight issue with the hot tub not working on the day we arrived, and she credited us $100 for the day, which was very appreciated!

Overall, if you are looking for a great place to stay in Key West and RELAX, this is the place for you! We will be back!

My wife and I stayed in the Jasmine House Honeymoon Suite for our first anniversary in Mar 2002. This is not the first marriage for each of us, so we are not incredibly young. Anyway, we absolutely love the place.
We told everyone about it and started planning our next vacation to go back. We are going again in October. This time with two other couples and we are renting out the whole bottom of the house. We couldn't find any other place like it in Key West. We looked. Believe me and the standard that we were looking for was the Jasmine House. I cannot wait to get there again and neither can our friends!

We stayed at the Jasmine House in the honeymoon suite and it was a really nice place to stay. It is totally redone and has all modern conveniences, but with an old fashioned look. The owners is very nice.
Besides an awesome look and feel, we appreciated the private deckand jacuzzi as well as the dishawsher, new stove, and washer and dryer.
There are two other bedrooms in the house, though they were empty when we were there. The only complaint was that the toilet in our bathroom did not flush well. I guess she had plumbers out and they thought the problem was fixed. It wasn't. But because the other rooms were vacant, we were able to use the other bathrooms. It was a pleasant stay and we would definitely go there again.
