Four more days in a little bit of Heaven. Once again my wife and I stayed at Marrero's and the worst part about it was leaving!
We stayed in room 12 next to the pool and never put any clothes on till going out for the evening. Then it was back in the pool for a late night dip and then up early for another wonderful wake up swim. I love this place.
John was his usual very business like self and Alicia was, well Alicia. Did I mention I love this place?
Room twelve is a nudist dream.We even converted a couple of people.It was funny watching them sit around for days and then say "Oh the hell with it" and off came their clothes. They said they had never felt so free. Even if your not into the nudist lifestyle Marrero's has so much to offer your missing out if you don't try it at least once. You'll be back!

This is a very nice, centrally located B&B - with owners who are willing to go out of their way for guests. The rooms are always very clean, and each has a unique style. This is a place that is over 100 years old, so it's not going to look perfect - but it is very tasteful and relaxing. Yes, there are roosters nearby - but there are roosters everywhere in the Keys - so I would not let that sway my decision.

Admittedly John (the owner) is slightly reserved, but he is always happy to help with places to eat, things to do, or any other needs during your stay. We stayed there last March with part of our wedding party - we took up half the rooms - and John was nothing less than accommodating to everyone.

The pool area is a great place to lounge around - they have an "honor bar" outside should you like a refreshment. We enjoyed breakfast on the veranda every morning - it is yet another charming part of the stay at Marrero's.

All in all, there is not another place in KW at which I would rather stay.

I stayed here in December of 2007. Maybe I was lucky but the other people staying there were very friendly which made my stay so much more enjoyable.

Marrero's is in a great location right off of Duval Street where you will be in the center of all the action. The rooms are well appointed and every one is unique. The breakfast and happy hour are very well done. John is a very gracious host. I never met Alisa but she kept my room very tidy.

Can't add much to what has been said in other reviews. This is a unique lodging and may not be the best option for all visitors. A real plus is the 24 hr clothing optional pool which is kept extremely warm and is a real treat after a night of partying on Duvall Street.

I'm looking forward to my next vist.

Wherever you roam on the island this inn is close by. The cocktail hour and breakfast were thrilling moments because of the guests. The roosters are protected by law and run wild. Important refurbishments have been made perhaps at the expense of the furnishings but comforts were numerous. Clothing optional pool - good idea.
An enjoyable, recommendable holiday. Tremendously inviting, hardly overpowering. Could use a unifying boutique design.
