We stayed in room #20 and it was exactly as pictured on the web site. The pool was pristine, perfect tempurature and really clean with nice towels always available. We enjoyed everything, the continental breakfast with fresh fruit, pastries, juice and coffee, lounging by the pool, moving our sorry fannies out of pool chairs and cleaning up for happy hour. We ended up totally relaxed and can't wait to return. John was lovely as was Alecia, we found them available if we needed them and unobtrusive most of the time. The honor bar by the pool was also great (although I wish he'd throw in at least one fancy beer - Heineken?). We also really enjoyed talking to the other guests, everyone we met was enjoying their stay and having a great time in Key West. One last long winded note - the location of the mansion is perfect for getting quickly to all the main attractions - Duval is half a block away and from there you are about 4 blocks to Mallory Square, Right around the corner is the Green Parrot wih great music at night!.

Our 4 day stay at Marrero's Guest Mansion was THE most enjoyable experiance of our entire Florida vacation. Location was great, the pool was a very welcome and relaxing site after a hot day of Rum Runners, shopping and snorkling. Very clean; and John our host, was very informative on the best places to eat and drink. We will be back. Did I mention it has a haunted past?

Marrero's is a wonderful guest house which is very close to all the spots to visit in old town Key West. Only 1/2 block off Duval Street, parking was found in front of courthouse for free. John was an excellent host who had many suggestions for places to visit and great places to eat. We loved the continental breakfast and afternoon happy hour. The clothing optional pool was a great place to spend the morning before beginning a day of sightseeing. We look forward to returning again to Marrero's. Thanks for a great time!!

Four more days in a little bit of Heaven. Once again my wife and I stayed at Marrero's and the worst part about it was leaving!
We stayed in room 12 next to the pool and never put any clothes on till going out for the evening. Then it was back in the pool for a late night dip and then up early for another wonderful wake up swim. I love this place.
John was his usual very business like self and Alicia was, well Alicia. Did I mention I love this place?
Room twelve is a nudist dream.We even converted a couple of people.It was funny watching them sit around for days and then say "Oh the hell with it" and off came their clothes. They said they had never felt so free. Even if your not into the nudist lifestyle Marrero's has so much to offer your missing out if you don't try it at least once. You'll be back!
