“Romantic and relaxing”

We stayed for 4 nights. The rooms were small, but very clean and beautifully and sumptuously decorated, with great attention to detail, such as candles and bubble bath provided. The bathroom was modern, tastefully decorated and fantastic with a jacuzzi for two. There was a separate small area for watching TV or reading. The lighting allowed for a variety of choices, with dimmers in the bedroom and bathroom. All appliances worked (fridge, coffee maker). The landscaping was awesome and luxuriant as well and the owners take great pride in maintaining a service that is friendly and accommodating. They provided us and the couple in the adjacent room with dinner one evening that was elegant and delicious. They are very enthusiastic about their home and the island and it is infectious. A special treat one morning from Kayla was a large bowl (almost) of cafe con leche, and Steve provided transportation for us to and from the airport and let us know about goings-on in town. If you go in December, you'll be treated to a house that is beautifully decorated with lights and colorful gifts.
The location is good in that it is very near two beaches, but not-so-good in that it is far from the arts/restaurants/business district. However, they have bikes you can use or you can easily rent bikes and there are other means of transportation. A word of caution is that you can't see the ocean from your room or from the backyard, as we had thought before we got there, as there is a condo and a high wall across the street that keeps the view concealed.
In all it was a wonderful experience.

Atlantis House is the MOST PERFECT place to stay.... This was our first vaca in 15 years together alone and it will be the most remember able..... We were there for the end of fantasy fest, halloween night and beginning of parrot head convention......

We are one of the awesome parrot heads and my hubby found the atlantis house under bed and breakfasts in Key West and read the reviews and looked at pictures... Wow it's great to look at the pictures and read the reviews, but things may be different... Not at the Atlantis house........ Having a room off the beaten path was the greatest thing... You could go out and then come back and relax outside on the side deck area and still be close to your room door.....

I have recommend the Atlantis place to everyone that I have talked to since I have gotten home from vaca....

It's quiet and relaxing and if you have any questions or wanna chat... Steve and Kayla R the BEST hosts to have........ I give them a A+++++++++++++++++++++++.

This is one great place to stay if you want privacy, peace and quiet. The owners, Steve and Kayla are more than helpful. The room has a very personal touch to it and you never feel that you are renting a place. It feels just like home. I would definately come here again.

“Perfect for Couples”

The Atlantis House is a beautifully appointed, off-the-beaten path, romantic guest house. The owners, Steve and Kayla, are the great hosts. You should take advantage of their knowledge and recommendations of the Key West area as well as a day out on the water on their boat.

“Best place Ever!”

My boyfriend and I stayed in the Master Suite at the Atlantis house August 9-12. It could not have been more perfect. The owners have thought of evey little thing a person could possibly want/need during their stay. The room has tons of commercial free radio channels for all different types of music. We listened to sound scapes the entire time while we slept, ate, chilled in the huge 2 person jacuzzi tub, and relaxed. This is definitely the perfect place to stay for a romantic getaway with your significant other! We had never been to the keys before, so we had alot of questions that the owners were more than willing to answer for us.
The beach is literally across the street. We walked down to the pier a couple of times and just sat on the benches while we enjoyed the breeze and sounds of the ocean. We had our own private entrance and the patio area was surrounded by beautiful trees, flowers, plants. We also loved the gazebo with two chairs and a table so one can sit and talk. They have decorative type lighting around it at night which makes it extra romantic. We could not have asked for more! We will definitely be back!
