The BEST vacation I have ever had! The owners of this small property deserve a standing ovation. I can't think of anything I would change at this tropical oasis they have created just minutes away from the craziness of Duval St.

My partner and I stayed in the"Master Suite". This suite is HUGE, and very comfortable, well decorated and includes every ammenity you could think of. The bathroom is a dream, the 2 person spa tub is so relaxing.
I think the best part is actually outside on the secluded deck. There are several wonderful seating areas and the landscaping is worthy of a multi million dollar resort.
Steve and Kayla the owners are so wonderful, they are so helpful with any information you may need and so thoughtful. Our last night there we were their guest for a wonderful homecooked dinner
Consider yourself LUCKy if you are able to secure a reservation at this tropical paradise, you will never want to leave....I know I didn't!

Jeff and I spent 6 nights in the Master Suite of the Atlantis house and the time went by way to fast. Steve's garden is awesome, the iguana's in the trees were not something we see in our back yard and we did enjoy spotting them. We borrowed the bikes that Steve and Kayla keep for their guest and we rode all over the island, absolutely wonderful way to see every thing. We had wonderful food encluding the hog fish sandwich that Steve fixed for us. Kayla is beautiful as well as charming and Steve is her perfect match. We thank them for a beautiful room and for the cleanliness and the hospitality extended to us during our stay.

We stayed for 4 nights. The rooms were small, but very clean and beautifully and sumptuously decorated, with great attention to detail, such as candles and bubble bath provided. The bathroom was modern, tastefully decorated and fantastic with a jacuzzi for two. There was a separate small area for watching TV or reading. The lighting allowed for a variety of choices, with dimmers in the bedroom and bathroom. All appliances worked (fridge, coffee maker). The landscaping was awesome and luxuriant as well and the owners take great pride in maintaining a service that is friendly and accommodating. They provided us and the couple in the adjacent room with dinner one evening that was elegant and delicious. They are very enthusiastic about their home and the island and it is infectious. A special treat one morning from Kayla was a large bowl (almost) of cafe con leche, and Steve provided transportation for us to and from the airport and let us know about goings-on in town. If you go in December, you'll be treated to a house that is beautifully decorated with lights and colorful gifts.
The location is good in that it is very near two beaches, but not-so-good in that it is far from the arts/restaurants/business district. However, they have bikes you can use or you can easily rent bikes and there are other means of transportation. A word of caution is that you can't see the ocean from your room or from the backyard, as we had thought before we got there, as there is a condo and a high wall across the street that keeps the view concealed.
In all it was a wonderful experience.

Atlantis House is the MOST PERFECT place to stay.... This was our first vaca in 15 years together alone and it will be the most remember able..... We were there for the end of fantasy fest, halloween night and beginning of parrot head convention......

We are one of the awesome parrot heads and my hubby found the atlantis house under bed and breakfasts in Key West and read the reviews and looked at pictures... Wow it's great to look at the pictures and read the reviews, but things may be different... Not at the Atlantis house........ Having a room off the beaten path was the greatest thing... You could go out and then come back and relax outside on the side deck area and still be close to your room door.....

I have recommend the Atlantis place to everyone that I have talked to since I have gotten home from vaca....

It's quiet and relaxing and if you have any questions or wanna chat... Steve and Kayla R the BEST hosts to have........ I give them a A+++++++++++++++++++++++.
