I have to admit that I was shocked by the poor review of the Mango Tree Inn (March 2007). We recently not only stayed at the Mango but also got married there and it was absolutely beautiful. We stayed in the room closest to the pool and Peggy and Johnny, the owners, went out of their way to make us feel at home. Every day there were fresh flowers throughout our room, including a heart made from rose petals on the bed. The wedding itself was much more intimate and lovely then any large, elaborate wedding that I've been to and I really cannot say enough about how perfect everything was. I was not able to hear any street noise from our room, though possibly the rooms closer to the front of the house experience more and yes there were people there cleaning the pool and doing odd jobs around the house, but how do you think a large, old house such as this stays in such fantastic condition? I have only been to Key West once, but I could easily recommend Mango Tree Inn to my entire family without a second thought. While there are not many reviews of Mango, they are all fantastic except for one. Do not hesitate to call Peggy and let her show you how beautiful Key West can be.
