If you are looking for a place in the Keys for your young children, this is the place for you. I loved how the rooms had sandy areas just outside your private, screened-in porch. My 3-year old played in the sand while I did things in the room. The pool has a gradual entrance which was great for my 13-month old. He could walk in the pool and play and I could sit beside him. The tiki bar/restaurant had a children's menu with a $5 grilled cheese, perfect for any toddler. They even made my son a milk shake with a fun straw. Very friendly staff. If you want a room with a sandy landscape do not get a pool view. Rooms were very clean. I love the tile floor rather than carpet. Wonderful breakfast-cereal, milk, yogurt, fruit, pastries, english muffins, french toast, doughnuts, coffee, juice, tea, PB, jelly, cream cheese, honey and butter. Rooms have dishwasher, oven, fridge, toaster, dishes and flatware.

Just a great place for families to be on the ocean. Terrific central location in Islamorada. Kitchens come in handy when you're traveling with kids, and ours loved the breakfast buffet. Staff wasn't exceptionally warm but the other guests were sure having fun -- and including us in it! Heated pools were great - particularly the zero-entry pool. Perfect for toddlers! We got the feeling of "old Florida" charm with no-frills rooms, sufficiently updated for families. Did it pass my "will I soak in the tub to relax?" test? Sadly, no...but I did bathe the kiddos in it...what does that say? :-)

We stayed here for a week after touring the mainland. After alot of driving about and packing up every night, it was just what we needed for a week of R&R.

We did have to swap rooms a couple of times, but this was because we didn't book - we just rocked up and asked for 2 rooms.

The pools are great, albeit a bit small. The bar is also great, we spent most of our time either there or on the pier, fishing.

It's perfect for a romantic getaway - very quiet and relaxing, you can do things in your own pace, and there are several bars and restaurants nearby - namely Lorelei's across the road, which is where we spent most of our evenings. Fab food, and good live music most evenings too.

I cannot fault this place at all, it was an amazing week for us there and we will definately be back in the near future.
