First time to The Keys, stayed at three resorts...this was outstanding! Location, location! Everything you want is here, no need to leave, with the trading post-store across from the hotel.
Cleanliness, pools-hot-tub, beach area all perfect. The tiki bar
completes the property, providing excellent atmosphere. A family
oriented stay...we'll be back!

First, food was incredible. Beautifully presented, perfectly prepared. We found staff to be very accommodating and friendly. Able to pack light due to washers and dryers - did 3 BIG loads of laundry for $6.00 wash & dry! Screened-in porch with tables & chairs leads to room - Huge patio windows that open the full width of the room - almost like having an outdoor bedroom without the bugs. Enjoyed a botle of wine in the porch end of day. Clean, daily maid service exceptional, nice crowd of guests - property quiet after 10 and we were right at the pool area. Music by pool not too loud during the day and decent music - no rap :) Rustle of palm trees was like a lullaby. Pool area extremely clean, beach beautiful. Snorkeling ok - shallow area but starting to see some life - some green grass, sponges, lots of fish, tiny corals starting to grow. Saw a few barracuda - perfectly harmless. Never made it to sunset at their pier - we were so relaxed, we fell asleep. Great family resort - kids must have been happy because we didn't hear any screaming/crying - just lots of laughter.

If you are looking for a place in the Keys for your young children, this is the place for you. I loved how the rooms had sandy areas just outside your private, screened-in porch. My 3-year old played in the sand while I did things in the room. The pool has a gradual entrance which was great for my 13-month old. He could walk in the pool and play and I could sit beside him. The tiki bar/restaurant had a children's menu with a $5 grilled cheese, perfect for any toddler. They even made my son a milk shake with a fun straw. Very friendly staff. If you want a room with a sandy landscape do not get a pool view. Rooms were very clean. I love the tile floor rather than carpet. Wonderful breakfast-cereal, milk, yogurt, fruit, pastries, english muffins, french toast, doughnuts, coffee, juice, tea, PB, jelly, cream cheese, honey and butter. Rooms have dishwasher, oven, fridge, toaster, dishes and flatware.

loved the hotel and the service, lovely atmosphere and great room by the pool. Can't wait to come back
