Just Returned From A Two Week Stay At The Country Inn And Suites Calypso Cay.
The Hotel Is Great And Makes An Ideal Base For A Florida Vacation.
The Rooms Were Large And Clean, The Free Breakfast Buffet Was Nice With Plenty To Eat And A Selection Of Free Coffee And Hot Teas Was Always Available In The Lobby Along With Cookies!!!
The Hotel Guest's Have The Use Of Three Pool's And One Mini Golf Course.
If You Want A Great Hotel In The Orlando / Kissimmee Area, Stay At This Hotel.

My husband and I arrived at the property and were very pleased as we entered. The "Calypso Cay" community was very pleasing to the eye and very clean and kept up. When we entered the lobby at the Country Inn and Suites, we were still very pleased with the appearance and the friendly staff. Our room was as clean as we expected and very accomidating. The rooms come standard with refrigerator, microwave, iron w/full size ironing board, and hair dryer. Housekeeping did a wonderful job of cleaning each night(we were there for 6 nights). The continental breakfast was pleasing although we only ate it 1 morning. There were cereals, muffins, yogurt, waffles, bagels, toast, and juice. I used the fitness room which was also kept very clean and cool. The property has 3 very nice and clean pools with a patio area, water slide, barbeques, bathrooms, and a bar. There is usually music playing on the radio or a band playing in the patio area at the main pool which we really enjoyed. The bar was also a nice thing to have accessible. The property has a free miniature golf course which is great entertainment. Super WalMart is very close by and with the refrigerator and microwave in the rooms, it was great to be able to purchase groceries and save money making our own breakfast and lunch each day. We will definately return and will not think twice about staying anywhere else.

Just returned from a long weekend with the family visiting the Orlando area. I would like to say that the Country Inn & Suites at Calypso Cay was very accommodating. The hotel had very clean rooms, nice pool area with playground, fairly nice breakfast buffet with waffles, pancakes, fruit, pastries and cereals. We were not far from things to do but yet away from all of the hustle and bustle of I-drive. If you want an affordable (paid $59 night), clean and fun place to stay, here it is.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The front desk staff were "ok", not friendly but not unfriendly. The bathroom was not cleaned as well as it should have been and the shower curtain had mold growing on it. The bathroom tile and the carpet looked worn out. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were flat as pancakes. The AC worked well and the room was a decent size. The breakfast looked good but we didn't try anything. The area where it is served is very nice. The pool area is great. Our children really enjoyed the waterslide. The zero entry pool is great for little ones. They had a guy playing "Jimmy Buffet" type music by the pool on Friday evening. The hotel is convenient to many restaurants and stores (Super Target). It took us about 10 minutes to get to the Magic Kingdom without any traffic.
