I work for a company that is always on the road. We stay in hotels every night for up to 7 weeks at a time, booking as many as 12 rooms a night. So we know BAD when we see it.

This hotel has safety issues like you wouldn't believe.

One elevator was broken and from the looks of the inside of the thing it had been broken for probably 4 or 5 years. The second elevator was very slow made strange noises and you thought you were going to end up falling down the shaft.

Fire exits were another issue. While the fire exits are on the outside of the building the fire hoses were gone the fire extinguishers were the size of the small ones you would have in your kitchen. Emergency lighting was non existent and the hotel tried to fix this by using large flashlights but they were missing the big battery and the light bulb!!

This place was definitely NOT up to code.

The rooms were clean enough, our room was huge and had been re-done however they hadn't done a good job of it.

The whole place smelled kind of moldy and they had portable dehumidifiers in the halls but it didn't help

Checking in and out were a nightmare due to the language issues. Lets just say English was not their first language. I would guess most of the employees didn't even speak English.

We will never stay here again! There is a brand new extended stay hotel right across the street and we will stay there next time we have to be in Miami.

Arrived at hotel just after midnight on 6th January 2007 after waiting over one hour for hotel shuttle bus at Miami Airport. Checked in and was given key card, no porter available so took luggage ourselves to sixth floor, only to find that room was already occupied. My husband returned to hotel reception and was given another room. This time porter took luggage and opened door to room, absolutely horrified to find that large part of ceiling had fallen down. Once again returned to reception and this time we were advised that they would give us a suite. Unfortunately, the lift was then out of order and we had to transport all our luggage up the stairs. We would never stay at a Comfort Inn again. This was the worst hotel we have ever been unfortunate enough to stay in. Luckily, this was only an overnight stay en route to Caribbean Cruise.

Housekeeping is very bad. Previous customers's hairs were in the toilet. Front desk staff not polite and unprofessional. Don't call them because they are not good at phone calls If you need something go there in person.
Restaurant prices too high for the quality of the meal. Not much variety.
It is hard to find a parking space. Once we found an unmarked parking space and parked our car but the parking lot keeper asked us to move our car because he liked that spot. (We knew we worked for the Hotel because that was our third night there)
Wanna be near the airport? Get something else..this hotel is going to get you upset and you're gonna feel like you've been riped off.

I mistakenly found this hotel through the the Travel Saver Coupons for $69.95, attempting to save money and stay close to the airport.
This hotel is unsafe because anyone can walk in off the street and get to your room. Let me list the problems for you.
1.) Another guest in the adjoining room attempted to open my door.
2.) Sheets not changed and had holes.
3.) The room was dirty and had burn marks on the floor like someone had tried to set it on fire.
4.) Clearly the towels were left from the previous guests.

Miami nor Miami Beach is not the place to look for a bargain because $100 a night doesn't guarantee your room will be clean. Research and pay the extra money to stay at a hotel that is clean. If the hotels name includes the word INN, avoid at all costs in Miami. Don't ruin your vacation trying to save money on a hotel room, it's not worth it!!!!
