We stayed overnight before our crusie to Mexico. The front desk staff was very friendly to us. We did have some problems though. We stayed on the third floor in a suite. The key did not work in the door. It took four sets of keys to open the door. We were not the only people on the third floor who couldn't get into their rooms. The carpet did have what looked to be paint stains on it. The fire escape doors do not close or lock so yes, anyone can come in off the street. Although, we did not feel unsafe. In the morning the elevators were broken so we had to carry our luggage down the stairs oursleves. They had a note on the elevators that you could call for luggage assistance but I did not want to tip the luggage man to carry my luggage down for a broken elevator. Although if I was on the eleventh floor I would have been calling. For the most part the stay was fine. I would stay again for an overnight trip. One thing I did like was that the windows are thick in the rooms. So being across the street from the airport it is not loud.
