“OK Hotel. Not New, Not 4-star as they advertise”
Staying for business trip to Naples, FL. Looking forward to a great hotel that would meet my simple business needs. Was booked for 3 consectative weeks, due to close proximity to client site.
It is a nice hotel. Pretty good restaurant for lunch/dinner. Much better suited to vacationers than business users. Rooms are a little dated, not an original Hilton hotel by appereance. Bathrooms have peeling wallpaper, with a curved shower curtain rod. ALA - Hampton Inn.
Yes, same room decor/style as a 8yr old Hampton Inn done the road that I ended up moving too. Why did I move to Hampton Inn? INTERNET ISSUES
The only issue I had and continue to experience was a failure to provide a decent & consistent internet connection. I use this internet connection to VPN to several sites and provide nightly reports/project work after business hours. I need more than a limited to 400~800k connection speed in order to transfer configuration files and check on migration status remotely.
I experienced Internet Outages every night. They would last from 1~2 min to up to 30+ min. I called Front Desk, I called NetAccess for support. They all sorta of tried, but ended up with same issue. Stayed for 4 nites on 1st week, till I left for another hotel. Stayed 2 nites on 2nd week, till I again moved to another hotel. 3rd week, only stayed 1 nite.
VERY FRUSTRATING AS THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN AT SIMILAR HILTON FAMILY HOTELS(Hampton Inn - DoubleTree - Hilton Garden Inn - Waldorf Astoria) WITHIN 5~8 MILES OF THIS LOCATION.
So, if you are vacationing. OK Hotel. If traveling on Business? SKIP THIS HOTEL. See other options close in area that actually provide a stable and consistant internet access that business travelers need...
Don't stay if you are a business traveler. No staple and consistant internet access at hotel.

Thank you for shedding light on an issue many business travelers experience when out on the road. We have listened to your feedback and because you were kind enough to let your internet issues known, we have researched & put in place a program that may help other business travelers who require heavier internet usage. As of this week, if any hotel guest will let our front desk team know that they will require more bandwidth, they can be assigned a designated password to add increase bandwidth access for their connection. While we cannot currently open up the bandwidth carte blanche for all guests, it is available for those guests who need more than the current internet connection that we offer. The current internet connection does meet Hilton standards and is adequate for everyday usage. This new program put in place is reserved for those guests who have a need for more heavy usage. Although this does not help your stay for the past three weeks, we certainly hope you will consider returning to the hotel as I believe we found a solution to your original issue. Our team apologizes for the frustration and certainly hopes to have an opportunity to provide exceptional service to you in the future.
