My wife and I stayed here the first weekend in November. I needed to see a client, then we spent the rest of the time at WDW.

This Hotel is located in the "Village" that area of hotels across from downtown Disney that was developed by other than Disney. My client told me this was a great hotel and we used some code he gave me to get a great rate. It was a great rate, 99 per night with a great breakfast that my wife skipped each day.

This Hotel is a convention style hotel that knows how to also accomodate tourists and children. There were at least two confences going on but that did not affect our enjoyment. It is well organized with an efficient well trained staff that know what it is doing. There is alway fresh fruit out for guests about the hotel.

All of the amenities were as listed on the site. Our room was on a lower floor and was very well appointed, flat screen tv, clean, and comfy. My wife insists on a clean room and she was very pleased.

We did have one problem and that was the door was so hard to open from the inside we thougth we were locked in and had to call for help. It came quickly. (A child or an infirmend person could not open this door, but this was probably a quirk of this room now fixed, and had we wanted a new room we are sure we would have been given one, it did not affect our stay).

Busses take you from the hotel to the various parks are supplied by Mearns Transport which had great drivers. Busses run every half hour. You can walk from the hotel to Downtown Disney.

The only thing I wish the hotel was a shuttle to run guests up to the end of the street (out of park) where there are stores. My wife needed a brush and we walked to the grocery store to get it. We are walkers so it was fine for us, but it would be nice. (it's not worth a cab ride for the less than a mile)

We will definately go back to the hotel. I did not get a chance to use the fitness center, steam or pool due to time limitations but saw them and they were all very nice.

We originially were going to stay in a Disney hotel. We have been to WDW several times but never stayed in a Disney property and were about to stay at the New Orleans or what ever the name is. I can honestly say that I am glad we didn't. The value, convenience, and wonderful staff could not be surpased.

My mother and I checked into the LBV Palace Resort and Spa on Christmas Eve for a one-night, last-minute stay for Christmas. We live about two hours away and decided to get into the spirit of the season. I booked directly with the hotel website and found a wonderful package that included a beautiful breakfast buffet for two on Christmas morning. I previously stayed at this hotel many years ago and it recently completed a major renovation. What a delight! Everything brand new and sparkling. Decor was modern with some very nice touches. Rooms were definitely larger than other Downtown Disney hotels. Nice new comfy beds, great plasma TV and extra touches. We enjoyed a balcony overlooking Downtown Disney. Our door opened out onto an atrium view instead of a hallway which was a nice touch. Check-in was a bit slow and was rectified quickly when they brought on another agent to help. That speeded things up and we were checked into our room within minutes. The hotel seems overwhelming at first but you find your way around very quickly. My 75-year old mother even found her way around! She enjoyed a brisk morning walk on Christmas morning around the resort - very safe and easy walkways to maneuver. Buffet breakfast was a delight with many nice selections and a great omelet station. I prefer two eggs over easy and the omelet station attendant obliged my request immediately with two perfectly cooked eggs. Many other goodies available both hot and cold. We have stayed at just about every Downtown Disney hotel and this is by far the best there is. We took a tour of the spa and it was quite large. We did not have a chance to partake of any of the services due to time constraints but would love to in the future. The spa attendants were very helpful about showing us around and answering our questions.

Wow! What a great renovation!! Sleek and elegant- and for $99 a night, with breakfast! This hotel is right across the street from Downtown Disney and a short drive or bus ride to the parks.
We are a family of four, 2 adults and 2 girls (under 10 yrs old) and we booked this hotel in order to attend Mickey's very merry Christmas party. My husband and I have stayed here before, but not since the renovation. Beautiful, simple and elegant lobby. Parking attendants were a little over eager, but meaning to please. The hotel was fairly empty, and the girls and I played on the simple but fun play ground while my husband checked in. Staff was very nice, and soon we were in a BEAUTIFUL disney view room! My kids were thrilled to see Epcot and other landmarks from our balcony. Everything has been re done and the effect is wonderful- I felt like we were in a 5 star hotel in some big city. Great carpet, lovely lighting, not a trace of dampness or smells, huge plasma tv and 2 wonderful, comfy pillow top beds! we slept very well, and as we were pressed for time in the morning (had an appointment in the castle, you know!) we were pleased to be provided with to go containers to fill, using our free breakfast passes. The buffet was lovely, great oatmeal, fresh fruit, omlets to order- even smoked salmon for your bagel. My kids said it was "fancy', we will be back!

The Buena Vista Palace was a great place to stay. The rooms were comfortable and the service excellent. There are also some great deals out there.

The location is across the street from Downtown Disney. The walk from the self parking is a bit far but valet is an option.

The pool area is very nice looking although we did not use.

I stayed at Buena Vista Palace in late November over thanksgiving. I was happy with the hotel, the room was spacious with two double/queen beds, desk, chair & side table and a small balcony. The bathroom was an average size. The room overlooked Downtown Disney, which was only a 10min walk away. Overall the room was clean, tidy and modern.

I ordered room service the first evening which was nice, delivered promptly and the service was good.

There is a small convenience/grocery store located on the first floor was okay, the variety and service was a little lacking.

There was also a little Disney store which was helpfully, I often asked them Disney related questions and I purchased my tickets from them.

The hotel is good value for a resort located on Disney property, Downtown Disney was nice and close with some great shops, food outlets and nightly entertainment for people of all ages. The free shuttle to the four Disney resort was regular and efficient.

On the last day I visited the business centre, the gentlemen who served me was friendly and helpfully.

The check in was relatively quick about 10min and the check out was great, done via the televisions which was very quick and easy.

The doormen were freindly; the concierge was not at all helpful and a slightly rude and lastly I was a little disappointed with the lack of porter service.

I would recommend the Buena Vista Palace.
