First off, I went on-line to find a place to stay for the July 4th week 1st till 7th. I visit Panama City Beach every six months and the place I usually stay didnt have any rooms when I booked in April, so I called direct and spoke with a very plesant lady named Sherry who assured me a room with with a Stove and Fridge with a KING SIZE BED, MIROWAVE and it was supposed to be on the ground floor and I asked for the best room that they had, and she said that she put it in the computer, so I PAID IN FULL over the phone and was told if I needed to cancel that I had to call in advance so I was fine with it. Great!!!! Right?? I also called about a week before I drove down to make sure everything was still good to go, and at that time I spoke to a gentleman who stated that everything had been noted in the computer and that I would have the room that I had asked for. Well I drove 14 hours there, and boy was I in for a suprise. I walked in and met Sherry in person for the first time and she stated that they Did Not have a room on the ground floor, I was tired and willing to give up the ground floor, so I said ok thinking no big deal just a few stairs. I signed one piece of paper and they made a copy of my credit card and license and away I went to my room. I opened the door to find that I DID NOT HAVE A STOVE OR FRIDGE or a MICROWAVE which over the phone I was told that it was extra and so I guess I paid for something that I didnt get, so I go back down to the office and there was a gentleman there and Sherry had left for the evening and I explained to the guy what was going on and he said to come back in the morning and they could change my room because they were "booked solid", So I am a nice guy I could deal with it I guess for one night. I go back in the office the next morning and there was two ladies in there and I asked them if they could switch my room to what I had paid for and they told me NO!! that they were booked, while I was standing there someone walked in and asked for a room and wallah!!!! They had one for them, so I asked if I could cancel my room because it WAS NOT what I paid for And thinking I would just be charged for the night that I stayed?? Wrong. the two ladies told me that I could leave but I would forefit my money, so I asked for a manager and they stated that there wasnt one there at that time, I spent $817.02 for six nights at this place and it wasnt very clean, wear shoes through the room if you stay here if not you will have to scrub your feet clean. The bathroom is a small closet and it never got cleaned the week I was there I had to clean it myself. I talked to some people that was there and no one was really happy and while conservating with others I had found that most people booked a week in advance. I BOOKED MONTHS IN ADVANCE!!!! And I paid more for less. I even asked for them just to bring a small Fridge to my room so I could have cold drinks and I was told that they couldnt do that but if they did I would have to pay a 50 dollar deposit, What?? I already PAID!!! I am in customer service at a Award Winning company, and I talk to my customers, about different places to visit and I always recommend places to people but I will warn them about this place...... I have called and asked to speak to the manager and they said that she would not be in till Monday 7/9/2012....... Good Luck and Do your research.. By the way if you look on the web page of seahaven and trip advisor you will find that it says free wifi wrong when you get there it cost 10 dollars a day through a third party. I have done more research to find out that this place is ranked 27th or 28th but if you look at the price for the 26th rated, that this place is worth about 70-80 dollars a night.....

Thank you for being our guest. I do apologize that we were not able to meet your expectations. You had booked our standard room. Our standard rooms do not come equipped with refrigerators or microwaves. For just a little more our Kitchen rooms are available that are equipped with a full stove, microwave and full refrigerator. I apologize but your stay was during a very busy holiday and we did not have availability the dates you were staying for our Kitchen room or we would have been happy to accommodate your needs. We are sorry but we do not have any mini-fridges on property and was not able to meet your request. So we would not charge any deposit for a mini-fridge. However, we do have two ice machines on property. Hopefully you will visit our beautiful beaches in the near future and if I can be of any future help to you please contact me.
