My husband and I stayed here last year in December, and I have just booked a stay for April of 2014. Everything about the stay was exceptional, and we had no complaints whatsoever. We arrived much after 7pm, and the innkeeper made sure that the key to our room was in the door, and had no problem with the late check-in. The parking can be a bit cramped when the inn is full, but as long as everyone abides by the 1 car per room rule it should be fine. The room was INCREDIBLE. Super comfy and cozy, and though not large everything is perfectly placed so that we didn't feel cramped at all. We stayed in suite #6 which has a kitchen, and a bathroom with a tub and separate shower. As a young couple, we appreciated the privacy that being in the back building afforded us. The more I look back on the stay, and having stayed in other hotels, the more I realize what a gem this place is! As one reviewer mentioned, it is very reasonably priced, and the location could not be better.
The bed was super comfortable, best nights sleep I had had for a while.
The Gourmet breakfast? Delicious! I don't remember the name of the young woman who assisted the innkeeper, but she was super sweet and hospitable. In fact, on our last day we had to leave before breakfast was served, and as we were checking out she prepared a breakfast for us earlier so we wouldn't leave on an empty stomach. Amazing! This place is seriously 5 out of 5, and I will DEFINITELY be back as many times as I can!
For longer stays I imagine room #6 would be better, since it has a kitchen!
