My new favorite restaurant!!!

Stinky's new building is nice and clean with a nice water view. There was a good band the night we were there.
The food is typical seafood fare, lots of fried baskets, and grilled fish. I did get a fried fish basket, and was pleasantly surprised at how not greasy it was. Obviously, it is not health food, but it was pretty good.

We've been to Stinky's 3 times in the past year. They recently moved to a new building right next door to the old location. We sat on the back deck overlooking the lake. It was relaxing, but very windy and cold. They moved us back into the restaurant after we couldn't take the cold anymore. We ordered the Catfish Maniere, which was excellent! For desert I recommend the peanut butter & chocolate pie...very good! The crawfish hushpuppies were good as well. The pricing was closer to $30 per person.

How fortunate that my family enjoyed 5 of the 6 restaurants that we dined in on our Destin vacation. At least we know where not to go next year. Stinky's food bordered on inedible for most of the party of 6. The fried foods were tasteless and the grilled fish was served at a cool temperature and had to be returned to the kitchen for a quick microwave warm-up. We are still trying to wrap our arms around the whole Stinky Fish Camp concept. What would you call poor food quality, slower than molasses service, a room lacking in character, a personal hygiene deprived guitar player, and valet parking. Stinky's!!...aha now I get it.
