I guess it’s what you would expect from a Holiday Inn. The room was clean, a typical motel style room with fridge, microwave and obligatory armchair. The bathroom was small and it needed a bit of cheering up, and the AC unit was really noisy. It’s fine for a 2 night stay, but pricy due to the location. The check in quick and there is free internet access in the lobby. There is not much in the way of breakfast places so take advantage of the free hot buffet breakfast, it has all you need. If I’m in the area again a need somewhere to say I would consider going back, so it’s not that bad.

It’s a short drive down to the beach and there are plenty of nice spots to choose from. It’s also a short drive to the marina in Sarasota with lots of coffee shops. The mall and cinema are also close by.

this place is just ok...we stayed here for 1 nite and it cost $189...the pool and jacuzzi are really nice and the grounds are well kept. The rooms are old and worn. The staff is pleasant and the continental breakfast is good. The sound of trucks (garbage trucks?) woke us up...(yawn)

I stayed here in January and found this to be a great place to stay in Sarasota. Locals recommended this place to me as it is in a good part of town and it is a short drive to the beautiful Crescent beach without costing you an arm and a leg. It has a very nice pool and hot tub area. One reviewer complained about noise but I had absolutely no problems with noise and I stayed here on Friday and Saturday nights. The grounds are nicely landscaped and the staff was very friendly. My only complaint is that they don't bake enough cookies in the afternoon and they run out of them very quickly!!!

I'm staying here right now as we speak. This place is a dump. I can't believe the reviews about how this place was so great. Tons of noise and there is a 1 1/2 inch gap between the doors (which are outside) and the ground. Beds are from 1980 and it has the feel of a sleezy motel.
