I would lean more towards the negative review previously posted than the positive review. It's not your typical Holiday Inn, more an okay roadside motel using the name. Rooms are okay at best, but I didn't experience the bad shower water. Train does make noise, but certainly not hourly. Needs more TLC to be a good motel.

We were booked for two nights of business travel, but we moved to another hotel after one night. This hotels needs immediate updating. If you are looking for a quiet night's sleep, stay elsewhere. This hotel is right next to the railroad tracks. The train runs on the hour, every hour, every day. Not to mention the airplanes flying into the West Palm Beach airport. The rooms are not sound proof. These are exterior rooms and they are dated. The furniture and bedding is worn. Room service food was poor. We had green water coming from the shower, and management sat on it until we checked out. Great cable!

I only stayed here because it was the closest to the event I attended at the Lyric Theatre, and was pleased to find it exceptionally clean and comfortable, with a lovely pool. I used a last-minute coupon from one of those rest stop books and they still put me in a prime room w/ a beautiful view of the palm trees in the courtyard.When I went to checkout at 11, and found my friends had asked for extended checkout the night before and were still sleeping, the clerk said I could have that as well, go on back and enjoy the room.
