The museum has been a wonderful addition to downtown Tampa. It is located next to Curtis Hixon park which is on the Hillsborough River. The building is very cool from the outside. The inside offers a snack bar on the first floor, along with a wet zone. The wet zone teaches children about tampa's port. There are stairs and an elevator to the other levels but if your kids are more adventurous there are "leaves" they can climb to get between floors. There are exhibits on construction, aerodynamics, electricity, an art and media studio, along with booths that cater to other professional occupations. It is a real treat for kids and adults alike.
