Water is in play on nearly every hole, but this course is a must-play if you're in the area. On the 4th hole, we spotted a bald eagle across the water dining on a large fish. He was so engrossed in this fish that he let us get to about 20 feet away and photograph him. I've never seen one in the wild so close up! The birdwatching was so great I didn't mind that I lost about 5 balls in the various hazards. There were also numerous gators out on a day that wasn't even very warm. Contrary to the course name, about the only wildlife we DIDN'T spot was deer! The course was doing some type of construction that caused us to have to detour twice to get to the next tee box. Other than that, it was in great condition. The staff was friendly and helpful.
