This was our second stay at this hotel for a business meeting. The checkin process was warm and welcoming. Keily searched for a nicer room for us than the one to which we had been assigned. The room was fresh and comfortable with a lovely view of the pool area. The pool is prettier than expected for an airport location. The small convience store in the lobby was great for fresh sandwiches and muffins and the prices were reasonable.

I arrived on a flight about 9:30 in the evening. The check-in was swift allthough very impersonal. I received a room on the 8th floor. The room was very comfortable, well lit and clean. I went to the lounge and found the service to be outstanding, with Robert paying close attention to everyone at the bar. My only complaint during the stay was the wait staff at the restaurant for breakfast. I sat for a good 10 minutes before I finally got the attention of a waitress. I asked if she was my waitress and she answered " I can be". Some of the waiters hung around the reception area talking with the Manager on duty. Where I come from, waiters wait on tables and make sure guests are satisfied and the managers make the rounds to the tables offering refills and small talk. These folks all need an attitude readjustment. I arrived around 8:30 and found the scrambled eggs nearly depleted and old. While I was there no one restocked any of the food bins. The checkout process was smooth and the billing accurate. The shuttle drivers to and from the airport were great and couldn't be more helpful. I paid 209.00 for this stay, a tad hefty but very competitive with most upscale properties in the area on this date.

We live only about a half hour from the hotel, but needed a hoteal near the Kravis Center for the weekend, so we booked the PBI Hilton.

Positives: The staff is really excellent! The property is lovely! There is a decent pool, workout room, business center and wireless internet.

Negatives: It's not the newer style propery with a fridge and microwave in the room and a lounge area with coffee and snacks. On our stay they had just painted something in the hallway outside our room and it smelled (personal peeve). They just opened a posh new lounge...on our 1st night the music was so loud I could not sleep; Unnoticable the 2nd night.

Dining: Is a mixed bag of values. One night we had an "early bird" dinner that was good and a good value. Next day the breakfast buffet was just so so.

Summary: yes, it is an older property but it is well maintained, and the staff is excellent, so you can bank on a happy stay.

Stayed here for a funeral in November 2006. Can't say enough about this place. Staff were very helpful and accomodating. Best hotel food I've had in a while. Outdoor pool and bar are great.
