“Perfect in The Summer”

The Resort at Singer Island, Florida

We stayed in a one-bedroom suite in June and loved it! The luxurious suites, modern lagoon pool, and service were excellent. The Resort wasn't full, so we felt like we received great personal treatment. There were lots of little luxury touches throughout the resort (like sleepers in the bedroom and SPF lotion at the pool to name a couple).

ROOM: This is not a typical hotel room. Our suite had a kitchen, living room, bedroom, bathroom (that had 3 mini-rooms!), and a balcony. It was built with every possible upgrade and luxury. The kitchen was very welcoming and had everything you need to cook with. The top-of-the-line fridge was huge. Before consuming nice snacks and beverages provided in the suite, check the pricelist. Bed and pillows were very comfy. We ended up not using the nice feather comforter (too hot). Sofa in the living room was ok to sleep on if you want to save money (or you can get a pull out sofa for $25/ni). The bathroom was like a magazine cover - all marble and huge glass walls and doors separating shower and toilet. We had a large balcony (4th floor pool view), but couldn't see very much. The palm trees from the pool floor (3rd) covered our view. Some suites on our floor had a view. High floor and ocean view would be gorgeous.

POOLS: Lagoon and infinity pools were great. Between the pools and the luxury suite, we didn't need anything else. Whirlpool could probably fit 20 people. There were plenty of chairs and umbrellas. If you are looking to sunbathe, there are plenty of spots at the resort. If you prefer to hide from the strong FL sun in the summer, the Resort is for you, too. It's built brilliantly: in the morning, the building creates shade for the lagoon pool, so you can be comfortable. Later in the afternoon, the ocean is in the shade, so you can again escape the sun if you wish.

SERVICE: Excellent-FIVE STARS! Staff is well-trained and very accomodating. We felt really pampered. Valet service was fast, and so was the service by the pool. We ate lunch at the pool (which was good) and couldn't believe how fast it arrived. Housekeeping was great (our suite was serviced by 10AM)!

FOOD: If you are into cooking, the kitchen is perfect and Publix is up the street. There are plenty of BBQ grills and tables in the public park right next to the Resort. If you prefer to eat out, the resort has very limited choices, so you'd need to drive. We made a mistake and ate at Panama Hatties (about 5 miles NW). Food was terrible (greasy, undercooked, and low quality ingredients).

After doing extensive research and reading reviews, we booked a stay during july 4th weekend. This, by far, has been one of the top notch best hotels i've ever stayed in!
Everything from the decor, cleanliness, and service was excellent!
The suite was very contemporary and clean and comfortable...loved the decor!! what got me even more interested was the large walk-in closet and marble shower! ...and so much space!
The ENTIRE staff was extremely friendly! they go out of their way just to ask how you are enjoying your stay and every single person was very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.
I have nothing bad to say about this resort! Believe me, i've had my share of upscale hotels with rude staff and dirty rooms...i'd say the biggest complaint i have is that they needed a full-length mirror in the room. (hardly a fault at all)
I definitely will come back again and again and I highly recommend staying here! the price is very reasonable and you will get the most out of your stay. You too will be raving about this place once you step foot into this luxurious resort!...LOVED IT!!

Visited this hotel for a bday celebration. Found out about a Florida resident rate on-line and booked a 1 BR suite. The hotel is contemporary stylish and beautiful. We initially booked for 1 nt but after walking into the hotel lobby we knew we wanted to stay longer. The frontdesk staff was very accomodating of the change. They had to change the room they had reserved for us to another room that would allow us to stay for 2 ngts instead of 1 but they handled it quickly and professionally.

The room was absolutely beautiful. Looked exactly like the pictures on line. The suite had a kitchen....contemporary w/granite counter tops and high-end design. it even had a washer/dryer in a seperate closed off area. Basically this was like a high-end apt. the bathroom was also great (marble, nice artwork and all the amenities needed). Service at the hotel was very fast, always professional and very accomodating to your specific needs. the hotel sent up a complimentary truffle tray for my BDay celebration.

the only drawback was the stiff $20/day valet fee and the service on the beach was at times a liitle slow. But who cares when you are relaxing in your beach cabana and looking out at the beautiful FL ocean. Overall it was a great weekend. Both my hubby and I absolutely loved this hotel and we are already on line trying to figure out which weekend we will be returning. If you book this resort you will be very happy with your decision. I didn't rate it excellent because of the valet charge...thought that rate was a bit unreasonable.

We stayed 4 nights in a one bedroom suite & balcony w/views of the intercoastal waterway. The accommodations are impressive. Go ahead. Book it. You will not be disappointed! My best guess is that the10 floor building is the hotel, and the main 20-floor building is for private residences. This place is elegant without being "stuffy." We arrived in our full-size Pontiac rental, but the valets also had to park a Bentley and a Maserati. Refer to the resort's website. The picutres are authentic. Room includes a kitchen w/microwave, toaster, coffe maker, full-size dishwasher, full-size refrigerator, dishes and cooking pots! The bathroom alone might deserve it's own review - you'll see (huge room, glass walls, 3 different light controls).

Beach: You can walk on the beach in one direction for an hour or more! Even the loggerhead turtles love this beach. They visit at night to lay eggs, then return to the ocean. Volunteers walk the beach in the very early morning hours to mark each new turle nest. The beautiful blue water was a comfortable 80+ degrees. Very little seaweed. We had 2 days of "moderate surf" but still very swimmable. The chairs are managed by a private company, so be prepared. $35 for 2 padded lounge chairs w/terry cloth covers, and an unbrella. You could rent a lounge-bed for a little more. The beach-guys provide sand toys for the little kids to use. The Resort wait-staff comes by to serve food and drinks. If you want faster service, you can put a little flag in the sand near your chair. The area just to the left of the Resort's beach is a public beach. It's a little more crowded, but there are life guards, if you need that added security and want to swim in that area.

Pools: extremely clean. The staff was always picking up towels and straightening chairs. They were all very friendly. They opened gates and greeted us every time we passed by. Very pleasant!

Restaurant (Solu): We enjoyed dinner. Try the signature (aqua) martini. It a perfect color for a beach resort. The food was delicious. Most of the guests were dressed for dinner. Some were casual, and that was OK, too. We also enjoyed the Riverhouse (15 minute ride). Great food, and the views of the yachts cruising by can't be beat. If you have time after dinner, walk through the neighboring boat yard to check out the yachts for sale!

Yes, there is an empty lot next to the Resort. The beach is lined with hotels and large condo (time-sharing) buildings. Most of the buildings are set further back from the beach than this reort. This resort seems to be the nicest one on the beach. The area near the Marriott's Ocean Pointe was crowed, even at the end of June.

It's only 3 and 1/2 miles (north) to the grocery store and many restaurants. We also drove 15 minutes to City Place (West Palm Beach) for shopping & restaurants (w/music on Thursday nights). The West Palm Beach airport was about 20 minutes away.

My wife and I celebrated our 15th anniversary at the resort. This was our first trip to Singer Island/Palm Beach and it turned out very nice. The hotel did not appear very busy during our stay, which was nice. The sun was out every morning at the beach and it only rained on us once during our stay. We concur with the other negative posts in regards to the overly expensive chairs at the beach and we only had a hotel staff offer to take our drink order once during our 3 days on the beach. The hotel accomodations were stellar (see pictures), including washer/dryer, full size refgrigerator and great flat screen TVs in the living and bedroom. The hotel staff were very attentive and provided us with numerous suggestions on places to eat and sites to see. In fact, the hotel staff at the beach referred to us by name by the end of our stay. I was a little concerned that we paid an additional amount for an ocean view room and you had to look sideways out of the balcony to see the ocean (see pictures). When we requested a better room, we were informed we could pay an additional fee (higher room rate) and we declined. We did learn that the rooms shown on the website with the great ocean view are private residences and the room we stayed in is a timeshare. We did not try the restaurant onsite, but there are numerous great restaurants 5 miles north on A1A/PGA Blvd. We did experience someone using our hotel phone while we were out to dinner; charging almost $100 phone bill to our room, but the staff immediately removed the charge when questioned. Overall, this is a truly luxurious resort, the beach is beautiful and the room accododations were luxurious. I would definitely return and refer this hotel to others.
