“Nice venue for retreat/business meeting”

My business held its executive staff's annual retreat at Chateau Elan over the course of two and a half days and two nights. The Inn's accommodations were nice and clean and the conference room we were in was the perfect size for our group. The food was delicious in the Versailles restaurant and the snacks brought in to us throughout the day were tasty. The food at the restaurant located in the winery was above average. I did not visit the spa, but some in my group did and weren't impressed with the services rendered for the somewhat steep prices. I don't know if I'd visit again if my husband and I were paying for it as I thought the rates were somewhat overpriced for what you get, but overall, I had a nice time as did the rest of our group.

“Small portions at Cafe Elan”

Dining at Cafe Elan is a great if it happens not to be very hungry. The portions are extremely small. After dining at Café Elan, I almost grabbed a hamburger at Burger King. For the same price, you can go to other restaurants and have a greater experience.

“Vineyard Fest at Chateau Elan Fantastic!”

My wife and I bought a weekend package for Chateau Elan's recent Vineyard Fest...The drive through the main gate right at the beginning toward the Inn was beautiful, you could actually see the vineyards on both sides and the ripening grapes. The bellstaff was on the ball with our parking and luggage and our check in was painless. Our room couldn't have been nicer and had all the amenities that you would expect from a top resort. Included in our package were tickets to the Vineyard Fest which were $42 each. The tickets were all-inclusive including the food, and wine and food seminars. We saw a sign that said Vineyard Fest was sold out and the concierge told us that more than 4,000 vistitors attended last year and that Chateau Elan wanted the guests' experience to be a lot more comfortable so they had advance ticket sales limited to 2,000 and all tickets were gone. We were incredibly comfortable and had a fantastic time at the event.. Everyone was in a good mood and they had wineries from all over the world pouring some really good wines. We learned a lot and enjoyed ourselves immensely, we will definately be back next summer!

“Incredible service”

Chateau Elan Winery And Resort

We have just returned from a week at Chateau Élan Winery And Resort. The hotel is magnificent and we have never experienced such incredible service before. We have travelled from London and had been very excited about going to Atlanta, which is well known for hosting the Olympics in 1996 and the home of Coke Cola.

For a Five Star Resort Chateau Élan is excellent value the roomawas large and beds were so comfortable as we found we could have slept for hours, but we did not want to miss out on all the activities that are available on the resort. We enjoyed wine tasting produced at the resorts very own Winery. I played golf on the Chateau course, there are 3 18 hole courses in total and 1 par 3 9 hole course, nearly as many as in the home of course in St Andrews am sure Tiger would enjoy himself here.

If you’re into motor sport, Road Atlanta is only up the road, as one of the other reviews states they host the Petite Lemans race every year.

The Spa is out of this world, so my wife kept telling me, she enjoyed a number of different treatments including hot stones and a massage well I enjoyed using the well equipped gym and swimming pools I counted 3 in total.

Your must have a pint of beer in Paddy’s bar after a hard day of fun.

To Sum up we will be returning Chateau Élan soon, I have been told that Chateau Élan also own a resort in Scotland called St Andrews Bay, I will be making a reservation soon.

“Great Property--Don't understand the So-So Reviews”

Chateau Elan Winery And Resort

We were up in Braselton for the Petite LeMans Race. Not much going on in the area but a perfect place to stay after a day at the races. I am surprised there are so many so so reviews. The Chateau was a bargain for a Preferred Hotel Property, we had a race package, complete with free shuttle service to the Road Atlanta track. The service was as good as any Four Seasons/Ritz Carlton. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and comfortable with down pillows and duvet.

We ate at 3 of the restaurants on the property. The menus were interesting but the food was average. Not many food choices in the area. The winery was ok but Georgia would not top my list for fine wines. But it was the fine service that would bring us back to this or perhaps one of the other properties in Florida, California or Scotland owned by the Panoz family.
