I chose the Super 8 since it was very near the airport and I had an early morning flight. The hotel was clean, the desk staff was very friendly and the bed and room were very comfortable. The nightly rate was reasonable and the hotel is well located near major highways, the airport, restaurants and downtown Idaho Falls. I knew it would be a no-frills hotel but a cut above Motel 6 so in that regard it was great. My parents also decided to stay at the same hotel and booked their room later. We asked to be in adjacent rooms but they were unable to meet our request. The hotel is a little akward to navigate and appears that a later wing was added so the floors are broken up. My hallway was clean and fresh but my parents' hallway reeked of cigarette smoke. Luckily the inside of the room was clear of the smell. Each of our rooms only had a single queen bed but that was sufficient. My flight was very early so I left without checking out the breakfast. Overall I was pleased and you could definitely do worse. If you have a tight budget or just need a quiet, clean place to sleep, this is worth considering.

“What do you mean the air conditioner doesn't work?”

Super 8 Motel Idaho Falls

Reserved a double bed with rollaway online, we arrived early and had to wait until 3pm. With a cancellation they uprgraded us to the 3 bed suite at no extra cost-sounded great until we got there- 3rd floor, about 96 degrees outside that day and the air conditioner didn't cool the air. What misery!! We asked the guy at the front desk to check out the air conditioner and all he could say was "well its hot outside, this is normal". Continental breakfast was rather skimpy, but hey, it's a continental breakfast. They had a hot tub, but no pool. Who wants a hot tub when it's 96 degrees outside? I would reccomend a different hotel in the area, especially in the summer months.

We stayed here for one night. For the price it was suitable. Very basic, but clean, quiet and comfortable. There was a spa (hot tub) area that my husband and son used. It was nice. There was a continental breakfast provided that was good. You could make your own waffles on this neat waffle iron. Good value for the price.

We were in town for the 4th of July celabration. We check in about 3pm and went up o the room. The room had a foul odor when we opened the door. The bathroom was totally new, remodeled. The room was some what roomy, it was a Family Suite, had 3 Queen beds, Microwave, Frig and 27" TV. The room was kinda of warm so we turned on the A/C which did not blow very good and it smelt like someone Unrinated in the A/C. We looked out the window and saw a big nice Hotel, AmeriTell, called them and checked out right away from the Super 8.
