We traveled to Sandpoint with my sister and her husband, and because of the festival there wasn't a lot of choice in accomodations. There was just one room at the Coit House and one across the street at the K2 Inn, so they took that one and we took the Coit House. It's a lovely property, and they have a photo album showing all of the before and after pictures as the building was restored. It is an easy walk to the downtown area, yet far enough away to be nice and quiet. The current owner, Jim, has had the property less than a year, and he is doing a fine job. We had the downstairs room, with a comfortable bed and a lovely period bathroom containing a claw foot tub and a pedestal sink. We spent time in the parlor in the evenings and were able to get online. The breakfasts were delicious, and it was pleasant to chat with the other guests. We would definitely stay there again.
