My husband and I go to the zoo on a regular basis. It is a nice and quiet getaway from the city. It is nice free activity. Do not miss the African Exhibit you get up close and personal with meerkats, Graffias, Pygmy Hippo and more. It is just a great little zoo and I would recommend it to anyone.

The Lincoln Park Zoo is a great place for a family outing. It is fairly large so you can easily spend the day there. There is a park outside the zoo and places inside the zoo that you can sit and have a picnic. There's lots to see and do at this zoo. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Some animals have inside and outside habitats. The zoo keepers leave notes that tell the visitors where the animals will be. These notes also tell visitors any important information about an animal (i.e. surgeries, illness, etc.).

I did enjoy the Lincoln Park Zoo, especially since it was free. It was a nice way to spend a few hours without having to spend a dime.
