My kids and I really enjoyed this zoo. It's clean and well-maintained, and you certainly can't beat the price! I could have skipped the petting zoo, but the rest was great. Especially don't miss the apes & monkeys! They all have great personality and are very entertaining!

If you wantt o get away from the noise and craziness of the city, go to the FREE Zoo! It is really nice! The gardens are spectacular and the walks are wonderful to stroll through. We went during the week so it was not crowded at all. The sealions are fun to watch. They have bleachers to see them. I had been there years ago and it is a million times better now. A lot of new things to see. The penguins are always fun to watch and the great ape house is a favorite. The snacks are expensive so bring your own.

My husband and I go to the zoo on a regular basis. It is a nice and quiet getaway from the city. It is nice free activity. Do not miss the African Exhibit you get up close and personal with meerkats, Graffias, Pygmy Hippo and more. It is just a great little zoo and I would recommend it to anyone.

Loved the zoo. Shady, so good to go on a hot day. Amazing that it's free.
