This guest house really outdid our expectations. It was a truly gorgeous quiet and private king suite - rich silk draperies, two-story ceiling, very bright and sunny, had private entry area. The bath was bright white and spotless (we weren't exactly sure what to expect since have been disappointed with B&Bs in the past.) We also had access to the large and well-appointed living room of the house (this was a common area.)
It was so well decorated -- leather king bed and matching leather bench, sort of a Paris Eiffel-Tower theme. We were really surprised to get this much for what seemed to be a really low B&B sort of price.
But it'snot really a bed and breakfast because no meals served. There was an in-room refrigerator and we walked to one of many starbucks in the area and a breakfast-specialty restaurant a block away. Another thing-- no television. We read this on the website, and it did not matter to us, but if you want to catch some news, you'll have to listen to the radio or use their wifi with your laptop or whatever. We are DEFINITELY coming back on here on our next Chicago trip. Loved the neighborhood--last time we stayed on Michigan Ave, but loved this neighborhood feel, theatre district and boutiques so much more. Recommended.
