My wife and I recently stayed at the Hyatt for one night. We paid $79 though Hotwire.

I arrived at around noon. Check-in was a breeze and my room was ready. The king size bed was very comfortable. Nice linens in the bathroom.

We checked out early the following morning. No problems. Overall, a nice shot stay.

We just returned from stayin at this hotel for 3 nights and I have nothing but good things to say about it. For $99 a night it was a steal. Great location on the river within walking distance from just about anything! Magnificent mile is just a 3 minute walk away, and the CTA is about a 5 minute walk. When you get there get a 2,3,or 7 day guest pass for the CTA this is a discounted ticket that give you full access to all trains, red line, and buses. Much cheaper than taxi!! The service at this hotel was great, we were visiting Chicago on our 3 yr anniversary. When we mentioned this the front desk upgraded us to a junior suite, which was very nice and spacious. Thanks to everyone for a great stay. Also, if you are ok with spending some dough, there is a great steakhouse located in the hotel.

We were lucky to get this for $56 a night through Priceline. We requested to be in the quieter West tower. City and lake view. Our room was spacious and clean. Very comfortable bed. Staff was friendly and informative. Parked a few blocks away at the Randoph street garage for $16/night. Can't beat the central location. Would stay again!

i suppose if i was paying a lot more than the $75/nite we paid i wouldn't be as pleased as we were. my 2nd time at this hyatt and it was good both times. at $41/nite valet parking is expensive, but since we walk or take public transportation or taxis we parked at the monroe/millenium garage 4 blocks south for $16/nite. $20 for the pool/whirlpool at the lakeshore athletic club 1 block away was something we passed on. however the exercise room on the lowest level was roomy and well equipped. the concirge service was friendly, eager and moderately well informed, definitely useful.

“comfy and relaxing!”

We stayed here for one night to get away from home and relax for a bit. Check-in was really easy and everyone was very friendly and helpful. We got to choose between 2 double beds or 1 king bed when checking in. The room was very modern and recently updated. It was large with a desk, dresser/armoire, and a leather easy chair and footstool. The TV was big (32"?) and there was cable and lots of movies to choose from. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets and pillows were fresh and clean. (I was a bit worried about this after reading other reviews!) The bathroom was a good size and the complimentary bath products were a nice treat!

On the downside, there's no pool and the bar closes at midnight (which the security guard rudely told us when we arrived at 12:15).

Parking at the hotel is *expensive* - $41/day. We parked elsewhere and paid $28/day.

Before we went I signed up for Hyatt's Gold Passport program which supposedly gives you extra benefits (maybe that's why we got a free Wall Street Journal in the morning?).

Overall the room was excellent and I'm very happy with our choice!! I went through Priceline and paid $63 including taxes. The rack rate is around $200. (Maybe I'm just cheap, but if I had paid $200 I would have expected more.)
