The staff was very friendly and the location is great. The room itself was terrible.
The first room we were put in smelled like something had died in it. The A/C did not work. The "fridge" did not work either.
We were moved to another room down the hall. It did not smell. The A/C did not work in this room either. The "fridge" kept our food cold when the housekeeper didn't shut it off.
The hotels brochure state that they have Pillow tip mattresses. They did not in the 2 rooms we were in. It was the HARDEST bed that I have ever tried to sleep on.
The guest rooms were in dire need of a good remodel. The bath room had been updated.

With the help of the staff we were able to enjoy a great marathon weekend at an affordable rate. The treated all to a 5 a.m. free continental breakfast and allowed us a late checkout after the race. Free parking, fridge and mic in the room at our request, and lots of help at the front desk with directions. (give that Angie a raise!)

We have both been to Chicago several times on business, but never had a chance to really see the city. The staff at the Ramada Inn Lake Shore made the trip easy and pleasant. They were very helpful and answered all of our questions. The hotel itself is clean and neat, with a very nice restaurant and lounge just across the parking lot. The Friday night seafood buffet with a live jazz band was great.

After having to change the location of our Daughter's Wedding Reception four weeks before the wedding with the help of Earl Adams, Director of Sales, he and the staff of Ramada made my Daughter and now Son in Law's wedding a beautiful event. From the Food to the finest details..thank you.
