This hotel deserves its chain's platinum rating. The room was not only clean, but huge, with 2 queen beds, a couch, coffee table, square table w/ 2 chairs, desk with comfortable office chair, luggage table in closet plus a folding luggage rack. Even with all the furnishings, there was lots of open floor space -- we never felt crowded even though our family of 4 includes a 6' 3" teenager. The well-lit room had an open floor plan. There's a shower but no tub (though I don't know of anyone who'd use a hotel tub anyway) in the bathroom which is accessed via a pocket door (nice -- in many hotel bathrooms you hardly have room to maneuver the swinging door). The heating/cooling unit was controlled by a thermostat on the wall, which was much simpler & more effective than the warmer/cooler dial located on most hotel units. The room included a refrigerator, microwave, and cupboard. Breakfast included belgian waffles, boiled eggs, biscuits & gravy, yogurt, 3 kinds of muffins including delicious corn bread, cinnamon & fruit danish, coffee cake, 4 kinds of cold cereal, instant oatmeal, a good variety of bread for toast, bagels, 3 kinds of juice, regular & decaf coffee, milk, & water. The men in my family always say, "where's the meat?" at this kind of breakfast, but the variety was well above the norm. My only complaint is that the Sleep Inn chain supplies Jhirmack shampoo and lotion which have a strange fragrance. Don't even think of saving a few bucks by going to the nearby Comfort Inn (we've posted a review on that hotel also) -- this is a much better choice.
