Stayed here on the way back from a 4 state college tour. Clean and comfortable. Very nice front desk staff. GREAT breakfast, included scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy.

This hotel has apparently been renovated since the original reviews were written. It deserves several more stars. We plan to stay here from now on when in the Chicago area.

The lobby is nicely decorated and very cozy with a fireplace and a low brick wall around the seating area. There is a breakfast room adjacent and the free breakfast provided everything you can think of including scrambled eggs and bacon one day and biscuits and gravy the next. The warm, fresh cinnamon rolls were outstanding.

Our room was a standard hotel room, nicely done, but the beds were fabulous. They had pillow tops and four pillows each, two firm and two soft. I was so comfortable that I wanted to take one home with me.

The location is excellent, just off the expressways, and there are restaurants galore in the area, several within walking distance. Also, you can get a significant discount on the room rate if you pay in advance.

This property is going through a renovation. The rooms available are very nice. The staff is excellent. Highly recommend.

I loved this hotel. It was clean, seemed newish, and our room was an adequate size -- not huge, but not small either. The bedspreads were just coverlets, with white clean sheets. It seemed well taken care of. The hotel was located among many fine restaurants and shops, just down the street (several miles, about 5?) from the Oak Brook shopping center. It was also near a Costco, a Trader Joe's and the Great Outdoors. Though we didn't make it there this time, it was also near an IKEA. I like staying in this area in that you get all the benefits of the city without the horrible traffic. Not that the traffic isn't congested, but it's not nearly as bad as Lake Shore drive can be!
