If you are visiting Freeport IL and need a Hotel ,stay here. Everthing is new. Furnishings ,carpets,lobby.The downtown area is somewhat depressing ,but the Hampton Inn on Galena Ave is one of the nicest Hampton Inns you will find anywhere.
