Stayed there for one night in August while traveling on business. Exterior and lobby give the definite impression that the hotel's heyday was back in the 60's and 70's. But the room itself was fine - it was a suite and was spacious. Free wi-fi was a definite plus, as was the free business center at which I printed my boarding pass.
There is a gym (more like a health club) and tennis courts located on top of the hotel garage across the street. During the heat wave this week, they were having AC issues. I was there at 7AM and it was hot inside already. There's also a huge pool on the 1st floor of the hotel building. I took a quick swim in it - it was fine. The hot-tub was closed for renovation while I was there.
I could hear folks in the next room coughing and occasionally could hear their muffled voices. Since its a suite, I didn't hear any noise from the hallway. I was awake in the early hours of the morning and gratefully didn't see any bugs (as reported by previous posters). In fact, the room was very clean.
Overall, I would prefer to stay in a more modern hotel. But for $79, it was perfectly adequate.
