We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and the condition, cleanliness, and smell was the worse I have every seen. We picked this hotel only because they allowed pets and I thought we would earn hotel points through Choice Hotels. As it was, this hotel did not participate in that points plan, but we weren't advised of it. The so-called FREE high speed internet access did not work (it was wireless) and the hotel staff didn't give a care. The bathroom ceiling walls were falling apart and had significant MOLD. The room smelled and was unclean. The carpets were not vacuumed by the housekeeping staff.
The free continental breakfast was O.K., but the room was hot (the daytime temp was in the high 90s), There was no coffeepot in the room, but coffee was available in the lobby.
The hotel staff was unconcerned about our comments about the cleanliness and state of repair of the rooms. I emailed Choice Hotels and they passed my comments on to the hotel management. The response from management was an apology and an offer for 50% off our next stay. What a joke!
As far as the price goes, we paid $125.00 per night for the weekend stay. There was a major event in town.
Also, the access to the hotel is hard to find if you have never been there before. But don't worry about that. Just DON'T stay at that hotel. There are plenty of nice ones in town that also allow pets. If only we had known that before we booked.
