I booked several rooms for a group staying from Jul 30th up until Aug 3rd . It's always a gamble when you're coming clear across country, but they time and time again proved that they can deliver what they advertise. The hotel is in a safe location, the rooms are clean and beds are comfortable, with an on-site laundry and a clean indoor pool. There's a nice family restaurant and bakery next door, but every room also has a fridge and micro with a hotel guest pantry packed with quick fix frozen foods and toiletries for a reasonable price. Lots of other shopping opportunities are close by. Their morning breakfast is heartier than most, complete with biscuits & gravy, eggs & sausage, waffles, pastries, juicies and cereals. In the evenings there are free drinks (including mixed drinks or wine for those of legal age) and a variety of snacks for all guests with lots of room to comfortably meet, socialize or just watch TV. Guest services also include a workout room and use of a lobby computer and printer. We continued on to other Drury Inns and found we could expect the same fringes, good service and quality.

This is a good value, but I booked a nonsmoking room and smoke was wafting into the room from adjacent rooms. My travel companions had the same experience (non-smoking room, but could smell smoke) in their room which was located on a different floor.

This hotel has been for me a consistently good value. The rates are good, the front desk service is quick, the rooms are clean and well-equipped for the business traveler, especially the work area, the hot breakfast beats out most other hotels' continental breakfasts, and the high-speed internet access plus hour of free long-distance telephone are bonuses. Security is excellent. This has become my usual hotel on business travel to the area.

My wife and I recently stayed at the Drury Inn North in Evanville and found it to be good value and comfortable over-all. We were in the area to go to the races
at Ellis Park near Henderson, KY. This hotel is approximately 10 to 15 minutes away from the horse track, and while there are hotels in Henderson that would
be a little closer and slightly less expensive, we believe this hotel is the best overall value.
Positives: Quick Start breakfast is included and we think the Drury does as good a job with the free continental breakfast concept as anyone and better than some. The selection of juices and fruit and cereal, etc were sufficient to allow for actual nutrition rather than just providing mega carb items like donuts and bagels or those horrible snack items you get at the cheaper hotel chains.
The hotel is quiet; even though it is on Hwy 41 which seems to be a heavily traveled route, it is set back far enough and sound-proofed enough that we really weren't aware of the truck traffic. Nor were we aware of other guests.
There is a restuarant adjacent to the hotel on the same lot which we were told had good food. We were not in the hotel long enough to give it a try, but it would have certainly been convenient.
Negative: The only thing that we didn't like was the climate control; we left the fan running all night as a "white noise" generator and the room continued to cool into the 60's even though I had turned the thermostat up
far enough to have stopped the generation of cold air (or so I thought).
