Overall, the hotel was shabby and the room was not as clean as it should have been. For example, there was red Silly String stuck on the ceiling, dark hair in the bathroom, and a plate glass window smeared with little greasy fingerprints. My young son noted the bedspread smelled bad and tv reception was not good. Further, the hair dryer shorted out and caused a little alarm to go off. I was misled and discovered the hard way there was NOT a free breakfast included. Skip the restaurant in the hotel, Damon's: The staff seemed in disarray when we arrived around 7 p.m., and the speakers at the table didn't work. The mildest bar-b-q chicken wings served in the Damon's restaurant were so spicy my 10 year-old, who eats wings all the time, could not eat them. I told the waitress who told the manager but only the waitress said, "Sorry," and nothing more was done. In fact, the next morning we could see that they were so spicy they actually burned my child's lips! That has never happened before! For an excellent breakfast, find your way to the Blueberry Hill restaurant and order anything -- all superb.
