I recently stayed with my husband and my 2 young children at the Blue Door Cottages in Monticello. We were very pleased with the brand new cottages, freshly renovated and very tastefully decorated, with all the comfort from your home.

We stayed in the Single Cottage that sleeps 4-6 persons. I am quite a picky person and the place was absolutely spotless! The cottage had a full kitchen with fridge, microwave and stove, a tv with DVD player in the family room and 2 seperate bedrooms (+ a sofa bed). The King mattress in the master bedroom was so incredibly comfortable, we slept in way longer than we should have!!

The owner, Jennifer, is very sweet and helpful. She brought us freshly-made cookies and made sure our stay was very pleasant. We did not get to go in the pool unfortunately, but it looked really tempting!

The Indiana Beach amusement park is only a short 5-minute drive and we went there 2 days in a row. My older daughter had such a blast!! On the third day, we went to visit the "Great Cats of Indiana" only 10 minutes away from the Blue Door Cottages, which I *highly* recommend to do. We were even able to pet an 11-week old baby tiger!!!

We really loved our stay at the Blue Door Cottages and will definitely plan to come back next summer!
