We had a birthday party at the hotel and everything went perfectly! All of our guests had a good time and were able to relax just like if we had hosted in our own home. There was plenty of space in the Executive Suite and the pool was totally awesome! We will definately be back also because the staff was so attentive and friendly and helpful in every way.

Sadly I didnt' get to stay here despite a reservation. We arrived late on a Friday night on the first leg of a road trip. The front desk told us our room had air conditioning problems but they could put us in a room at the La Quinta next door. It was only after I protested that I paid for a suite room and I was dissappointed to be downgraded to a standard room at the La Quinta did they offer to move us to another suite style hotel a few miles away. It was not a happy way for us to start our trip with 3 very tired kids.

My family of four stayed at the Country Inn and Suites in Clive, Iowa, April 6th through the 8th, Easter weekend. Booked a king two room suite with pull out sofa. Emailed the hotel to request a roll away. Hotel emailed reply right away stating that they would have a roll away in the room when we arrive. Check in was quick and easy. The lobby was very welcoming. Room was very nice and clean. The roll away was in the room just like they said. Extra pillow and blankets in the draws. The seating area and the bedroom is between seperate bathroom. That is nice as the first one in the bathroom can close the door and not bother the one sleeping on the pull out sofa. Seperate bedroom is also nice. The indoor pool is very nice and clean. The hot tub had hot water, which is nice. I hate a cold hot tub. The towel rack was never empty. Easter morning the hall way was very noisy with kids slaming doors and running up and down the halls but that is no fault of the hotel. Breakfast was very busy especially Easter morning. Everything was filled, even coffee urns where kept full. All in all I would recommend and stay at this hotel again.

Best Hotel in Des Moines! Staff was friendly, rooms were clean, location was near everywhere I wanted or needed to be, easy to find and superior breakfast and amenities. Anyone needing a place to stay should check it out--the rates are fair in the area and is quite above average in service and accommodations.
