Manhattan kansas is not Manhattan Manhattan (you know, NY...). While on a family reunion trip in the midwest my wife and I decided to try to find a good place for a quiet dinner alone. We came upon this. Manhattan KS is home to K-State Univ. This place started and a wine and cheese bar 3 years ago, turned into a full service restaurant shortly after. They have an extensive wine selection and reasonable prices (e.g., a bottle of Kim Crawford '06 Sauv Blanc, normally an $18 or so wine at the store was only $32) and offer pairings with each selection of entree and cheese. Our server (Melissa) was very engaging and enjoyed the menu items to the point of being able to engage in a relevant conversation about virtually all choices. We had a very good time, good food, great service.
