We stayed one night at this motel during a very trying time. An ice strom had hit our community and we had to leave our home to find heat due to power outages . We couldn't get the invoice on how much our card was charged and called about it when phone lines were restored. When the general manager was questioned about the bill he got very angry and cursed us. My daughter was on the phone with him and he called her a stupid [--] and we could have spent the night in the car and froze. I can't use the language here that he spewed over the phone but it was appalling. He made a threat to my daughter telling her to come to the motel and he would be waiting for her. We were stunned. This is a true report and the complaint was reported to Super8. His excuse was that he was stressed having to deal with the motel and people during this ice storm. Never once was one rude word used when we called. My daughter just asked a question about her bill and he went off. She didn't have have a chance to say another word. Never again will we, our freinds, our family, our church recommend this motel or spend another dime there.
