Stayed overnight. We found generally excellent, except: Second floor hallway 20 feet either sisde of maintenance room, the hallway smelled so heavily of cigarette smoke it was hard to breath. The rest of the halls were cigarette free. Also, there was nothing to watch on TV so we decided to rent a first run movie. The instructions on the phone to do so did not work at all so we ended up watching the Iowa Caucus. Even with these very small aggrevations, we would recommend this accomodation to travelers.

The people at this Comfort Inn were very helpful to us. I had gone onto Orbitz/Travelocity to reserve a room there. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we were given a smoking room. I went immediately to ask for a non-smoking room and they got us another room. Mike (the man at the desk) was very helpful and told us that Comfort Inn tells Orbitz/Travelocity which rooms are available, and usually they are the smoking rooms. Although we didn't have any problems with Orbitz/Travelocity and the other hotels, just know we had concerns with Orbitz /Travelocity and the Comfort Inn. The rooms were clean, but nothing spectacular. There was a jacuzzi there and some exercise machines. Their continental breakfast was ok. The hotel has a great location and is within 2 miles to a mall, gas and various fast food.

We arrived without reservations, asked for availabilities and rates at the front desk. The desk clerk asked if we had any possible discounts. Price was about $20 less than advertised with AARP membership. Lobby and breakfast area were attractive and spotless, room was very clean. Staff was friendly. Breakfast on Monday was ample, and the room was bustling with families with young children as well as adults without children. Downside - the beds were really hard. Board-like. Located between a Hustler's XXX shop and a highway, along a strip of chain motels, a visitor never notices noise or any loiterers. We felt perfectly safe.

We come to Lexington every few months to golf. This hotel was one of the few available this weekend with an indoor pool and hot tub. Several people complained in their reviews about the sex store near the hotel. We did not really even notice it. There are several different ways into the hotel that you can avoid driving by this store. The pool area was very nice. We had it all to ourselves most of the time. The hot tub could have had stronger jets, but was nice and hot. The continental breakfast was nothing great. We called and asked for late check out which is offered with the guest priveledges program, and were told we would need to call in the morning because that can only be done on the day shift. That kind of defeats the purpose of late check out if you have to set your alarm and get up to call. The reason we wanted late check out was to be able to sleep in since we had a 6 hour drive home. We would most likely stay here again.
