We had to stay here due to a flight delay. The hotel exceeded our expectations both in terms of service and facilities. The hotel is arranged around a central pool area and gym. Here also you will find a more than satisfactory restaurant and a bar in which you could easily forget that you are still in the hotel. Value for money is great. Remember though, this is an airport hotel and not at all convenient if you want to commute to the centre of New Orleans. The hotel runs a regular shuttle service to and from the airport terminal, just 10 minutes away. The service runs every 20 minutes during peak hours and on request during off peak. When you check in make sure you ask for a room that doesn’t open directly on to the central atrium area. These rooms have less privacy than others and may pick up much of the noise from the pool area. For a hotel to stay at prior to, between or even after flights we would definitely recommend this one.

Booked this hotel through Priceline. This was the first place that we were unhappy with. As soon as we checked in, I was on the phone to Priceline to request a change. But, while I was on hold, my wife convinced me to hang up and just deal with it. The parking lot was dirty, the lobby was dated, the rooms have a 80's decor. The mattresses were lumpy and sagging. There were 4 of us in the room, and each day they gave us 3 sets of towels. My 3 year old spilled powder on the carpet on our first day, that same powder was on the carpet when we checked out. This hotel sits DIRECTLY in the path of the airport runway. The planes didn't keep us awake (the mattesses did) but, you knew they were there. We enjoyed the indoor pool but, the restrooms at the pool were filthy everyday. Even at $40.00 a night I felt like I overpaid for this place, no way this hotel is a 3 star. One positive note, the staff was friendly, housekeeping, restaurant , and front desk.

The accomodations of this hotel were modest, however, we were staying due to a family emergency, so we would have been content under the circumstances. When I booked the room, I made it extremely clear that I would be staying with an infant and needed a crib. The reservationist said, "No problem". I again confirmed this with her. She said the same. When we arrived at 8pm they sent us on a wild goose chase only to find they had no more cribs. We spoke with the MOD who took a very, "Not my problem" attitude and said she would help us find another place to say but couldn't guarantee the price. By this time it was about 10pm and we have 2 small children. We came up with all different scenarios, but they wouldn't work with us. I explained that it wouldn't be safe for my baby to sleep anywhere else but a crib - the beds didn't move and the space was to small for her to sleep on the floor safely (not that I would have been happy with that!). Finally we left and went to the Hilton Airport Hotel where they treated us like royalty and had a crib waiting...for the same price.

We found the hotel to be clean and the rooms to be very well insulated. We didn't hear any of the loud airplanes overhead, nor a peep from our neighbors. Free internet. Indoor pool seemed strange in Louisiana (reminded me of South Dakota), but I guess it would be too noisy outside. It made the indoors rather humid (but the rooms were OK). No elevators to most 2nd floor rooms. Many rooms' only windows open only to the inner or outer corridors, so you end up having to be "draped in." Getting downtown requires a $30 cab ride each way, so I wouldn't stay here if the intention was to visit or do business in New Orleans.
